@akstormbasketball I have two 2508s in my truck in an MB box. Wired to 1 ohm on an dd audio m2500. I don't have an LOC because I have a Linkswell Gen 5 radio, it has 3 rca outputs already built in the radio.
I told my co workers that 2508 is a beast for trucks that will give them performance and quality at its highest level with the right enclosure, power, and electrical this sub costs but if you want quality this is where it's at
I had and still have stored away JL 8w6 was top of JL in its day. That sub looks like a 10 on steroids in comparison. Great work breaking down subs and boxes
A friend of mine had 4 of those and when he turned it up it would make the wiper blades on his s-10 king cab slap the windshield.He he later became a judge in SQ this was in the 90s.
I think it still outperforms bigger brothers tbh . I have been running two my 9510L . Even though they sound good and hit hella hard . I enjoy driving my daily with my 2508gs way more. They dont bottom out they dont seem stress they dont get hot . Amazing woofers
@ah4800 I have them on a 3.0 net box tuned to 32 . They get warm but don't get stinky. they get warm about 1 hour into play time and you can barely feel it . Which is enough to go deaf so you gotta bring it down before the hour . I'm also running a m8000 at 2ohm and checked for clipping everywhere. If your gonna run these woofers even with 1 you gotta have electrical. But definitely these 9510L aren't built like the 2508g. 9510L like more of the 28-65hz which the 2508g like more of the 22-50hz at most. Anything below the 28hz on the 9510L will bottom out on mine also.

You need to check out EM audio they have a hand built (here in America) 8inch 1000 watts rms beast. I think it would hold up pretty good 👍🏽

Wish I could run these .. Don't have the space .. For Now .. I think once they break in they can do a 140 at 26
