  • Insane tornado weather affected Bartlesville & Barnsdall Oklahoma last night 5-6-2024. The 7 min mark it roars like a jet airplane the video picked it up. Tornado Emergency for Washington county Oklahoma. I was spared & safe. Hail Rain and 70+mph winds gusts lightning Sirens. I was out by my front curb because it was a low spot & I don't have a basement I was ready to drop flat but it went just barely east of me.

I have had very deep crippling depression and lost slowly over 20 years everything that means anything to me including my mother to Alzheimer's in 2015 & my family was so mean to me. My mother who was so loving went to heaven. All I have gotten is jacked around in this life and I felt this may be an opportunity to go see her and my beloved savior who loved me. Chronic Depression will have side effects of things like this. Clarence Clem Schultz. Heard the noise too and kept recording I saw in another storm. This world ain't my home.

There's such a huge difference between velocity couplets, convection returns, hook echoes, etc. and what it is actually like there. Closest I've come to a tornado was a couple years ago watching weather coverage while a large, low funnel cloud was passing by our house by just a mile or two to our north. Knowing all I got was abused here mentally and spiritually I told God I had nothing to lose in Christ but all to Gain in coming Home. This was definitely a Clarence Clem Schultz moment. Like I have replied to many comments under this video. I have had 2 decades straight of terrible mental abuse & I got banned at 8 churches here in Bartlesville. I have needed help with some things and it takes 10 acts of Congress & the president signature to get anything I need help with figured out. My family & peers were horribly controlling and very ugly to me. I admit I hate this life with a passion because of how frustrating it all is. I have been trying for a year to get someone to help me with this phone. My family took my mother sick with Alzheimer's in 2005 and my aunt n uncle told me to eat ---- & Die and I never was allowed to see my mother for the last 10 years until 2015. So this tornado I stood outside hoping it would come thru & I could call it a night and be through with all this worthless garbage of this life and I was disappointed when I didn't get to say praise God I'm gone with the wind & amen.

With such a horrible life why would a tornado want to carry you away? You need to pull up your big boy pants. Man up and quit dwelling on the problems that you say everyone else has caused you. You need to handle your life yourself. Its called being a responsible adult. Quit looking for a way out. Quit looking for someone to pick up your pieces. Become the person your can be. Have the life you can. Be happy and have courage. You have come this far with a pathetic sob story that no one wants to hear ok. You are your thoughts. If you are trying to get sympathy from standing outside waiting for it to carry you away, well, good luck. There are easier and faster ways to go by the way. Sure us a chickenshit attitude you have. If on the better hand you choose to shut up and make it better, you might surprise yourself with a new reality. A good and hapoy life. According to you, you have nothing to lose...so whats stopping you from trying to better yourself. I'll be praying for you for strength and a healthier mindset. Thats how the rest of us are doing it.

@@ar3421 you can see a single power flash with the siren sounding strange, then the second one and the sound of the dying siren is the same in both, both in the exact way it descends in pitch and how fast it does so. The power flashes and the lightning strike between them are the same amount of time apart too
Also these videos were shot in the same town so it makes sense, usually there aren't more than a handful of them in a town of that size

There are often more tornadoes that follow the first. The alarms sound, I go next door to their basement.

I'm from NJ and have lived in AR for 8 years now. My immediate reaction when warnings go off is to get my safe spot ready and my cat in her crate. My fiance, OTOH, he's been known to grab a beer and a lawn chair to go out and look for the damned things. 🤦‍♀️
It's okay, though. When winter comes and he's bundled up in 17 layers of clothes, I'm sitting there in a long-sleeved t-shirt and sweats. It all evens out in the end.

Glad the rear storm merged with the mesocyclone and knocked that tornado down a notch or it would have been very catastrophic for Bartlesville like it was to Barnsdall

He sounds like my uncle Harold from Soper, Oklahoma. He wouldn't be recording. He was in one as a young man & the rug he was sitting on hovered for a few quick seconds, he said. Then the house come apart. Ever since then he's underground. He has a shelter in his front yard.
I have heard that wind noise before here in Texas. It didn't drop, but i swear, it was rotating. I've never heard a sound like that since (during a thunderstorm) glad you're okay. 🙏🏻 To those affected. I have a feeling, it's not over yet.

Right! I didn't know that was a thing. I'm kind of new in Tennessee and just had tornado warnings and found out we have NO sirens. I'm from northern Illinois and never lived more than a few blocks from one. They are everywhere and they are loud, impossible to miss. Guess they cost too much money for this little town 😔

I hate nighttime twisters 🌪️, they’re the worst because you’re asleep and you might not be close enough to hear the sound of the weather alarm 🚨 going off. We’ve had one back in’99 that tore up our downtown area and part of the college campus. I have been told that when you don’t hear anything outside, you NEED to be in your safe place ( basement, storm shelter/ room, laundry room , bathroom or hallway ). The Laundry Room is the only place where we would’ve had to go at our old house, now we only have a hallway to go in to for shelter, with my bed mattress over our head.

@@briannaeavesGFX With some tornados (not all) it can get deadly silent and still (wind wise) before the tornado is pretty much on you. They call it a rain free base. It's basically where there is updraft in a storm and a wall cloud/tornado can produce behind it.
