Kirovs flight leader: All right guys here is the plan. We will come very very slow and hope that by the time we make it the cruisers would run out of missiles.
Well this time Aegis have succeeded to stop elite Kirov attack(something that Sea Scorpion failed to do) but only on concentrated fire mode, otherwise it simply won't work unless you micromanage with either maneuvering(something Sea Scorpion does just as well), or ordering them to fire. Sea Scorpion requires less micro anyway.
Aegis fires much faster when you direct fire it than it normally does. Aegis is basically the oh no you don't any time someone tries to fly a kirov close to water.
What is annoying about this unit is of its slow fire rate when it is auto attacking air units until you manually click on units. Suddenly fast rapid fire attack speed from Aegis Cruiser and no idea why Westwood made it this way as Allied is a heavy micro-management faction to play as.
wow... it is kinda crazy and unexpected that distributed firing (with more wasted missiles) ends up being better. This just shows how much focus fire really matters in RTS games.

😂😂
It's like the Star Wars sequel series second movie.
It is crazy how all the wasted missiles are not damaging anything while exploding.
Basically I saw Air carpet bombing.
The Aegis got cheated
All those wasted missiles damn
Standard Missile 2 (SM-2) Block IV $2,100,000 :D

To be fair , scorpion were made to against Crowd unit ( hornet , rocketeer , flying dis , harrier )
@grassperrysvn4543 you mean small light armored units (drones, hornets, etc.), and projectiles too (missiles, rockets, etc.)

Yes I once did this with an elite 1 and it destroyed a Kirov in 0.05 seconds. I was amazed at this. Completely broken.
Probably balance of power?
I was so worried about those aegis cruisers. They finally won! It's good!

Kirov: bombardiers to your stations
Nighthawk: LZ is hot
Siege Chopper: load up the belts
UFO: laser beams ready
Rocketeers: Targets seen
Thanks for the upload
Even with berserk mode on, it'll still be nothing but shooting tons of fireworks than coordinated missile strikes.
讚!
Awesome 👏🏻
I think sea scorpion would have been a lot more effective against the swarm aerial combatants due to their aoe flak attack.
How can distributed fire = no fare better than on? No means higher rate of fire.
It designed to kite also
Scorpions are the best
Really weird game balance choice to make Sea Scorpions have the same HP as Aegis
