This is the real deal folks, as a Ferrari fan this car was so special to see. This car is valued at tens of millions of dollars (25mil.+) To see it driven on the streets was quite a sight. This is car 4091GT which started life as the 'more common' series-1 body style 250 GTO later re-bodied to the series-2 body style you see here. Be sure to watch 'til the end to heard the glorious acceleration!

Kudos to this guy for driving it to the show rather than bringing it in on a trailer. If i had a beauty like this, it for sure wouldn't be sitting in my garage gathering dust. I would drive it at least a few times a year.
This is actually a 62 rebodied into a 64 GTO (chassis number 4091GT) which is owned by Peter Sachs (since 1981). Gorgeous car !
WHAT?!?! i didnt know there was going to be a GTO!! you just made me devastated for missing this year...
thanks for the video-this is AMAZING! i honestly cant believe that guy would even drive that car! sooooo rare and expensive!
yep this is a rebodied '62 GTO. you really can't beat that V12 sound
Stunning!
Thanks for the comments! I think it's just a body revision, essentially an 'update.' I still prefer the series-1 body style myself. I think the update was because of the 250 LM introduced in '63, they both have that weird long body.
the acceleration is just... AMAZING!!!!11!1!!
i love how it sounds like its going like a bat out of hell and is just keeping pace with the mini van. awesome ride though.
This car was ten years ahead of its time.
No need to apologize my friend, I appreciate your comments. The car is not mine.
Then again, the old ones have no restrictions as far as smog and sound like the new ones do. They also do not make nearly as much power, and have much more open intake and exhaust systems.
This month a 1963 GTO was sold for $52 million. Incredible!
There goes the most Greatest Ferrari than ever existed.
So betifull its really a best car of the world seriously
the engine sound is good in this beauty
@lolle18 Your right! Sort of, this is a 1962. 250 GTO 4091GT. Which started life as a Series-1 GTO, then was later re-bodied to a series-2 style that you see here. I will update the video description.
Awesome!
Google series-1 250 GTO, and then series-2. They are different body styles of the same car. The one in the video is the later version and only 7 exist. Value is in the description.
@RAIDwarDEN It's not about the speed, or the looks even though it's one of the most beautiful cars ever made. People see it as a museum, not a car. It's all about the engineering, the noise, the rarity, and the adrenaline that is pumped into the system from driving one of these machines.
