I hate the phrase "voting (in)correctly." It implies you're _supposed_ to vote for the person who's eliminated. There are many, many times when this is not in your interest.
I suppose it does imply this, but I don’t think that’s what the phrases intention is. It’s more to signal u were on the wrong side of the numbers and were blindsided by the vote. Most of the time this is the case, although there are a few times someone doesn’t vote the person who gets the boot simply because of a personal connection. Usually this is not the case tho, they are just out of the loop
@@TransparentEclipse And being on the wrong side of the numbers is certainly bad, but the incorrect part isn’t in voting. We see lots of players end up in hopeless situations, but even then, what are we to label as correct? Shooting down your ride or die to curry favor with a majority alliance that neither needs nor wants you anyway?
@@aperson22222 can u give me a specific example? I’m having trouble really grasping a situation like this. Is there a scenario in particular u were thinking of as a reference?
@@TransparentEclipse Hmm, maybe the one tribal council in S23 that was actually interesting, in the merge episode. Given that Keith was voted out, he was the “correct” vote. So should other members of Savaii have voted for him? Cochran took his fate into his own hands by doing so, which only meant the new Upolu majority would save him for last. A second Savaii defector would have gotten even less to show for their “correct” vote. There _are_ things they definitely did incorrectly: trusting their least integrated member to play double agent without actually becoming one; making no real effort to identify and bring in the least integrated Upolu; wasting Ozzy’s idol (if Ozzy had recognized that Cochran was the least willing to go to rocks, he could have played it on Cochran and kept him loyal); even sending Ozzy to Redemption Island in the previous episode. They should have let what’s her name eliminate Cochran then tried to flip her when she came back; she hated Coach so much that she would have been likelier to stick with them than squirrely Cochran was. So there’s much they did incorrectly. But voting for Rick wasn’t incorrect, as their best interests would not have been served by voting differently.
@@aperson22222 ah interesting, good example. Yes I definitely think that is a very good example and makes a lot of sense. Ur absolutely correct that savaii should not have voted for Keith and it was indeed the correct vote for them to go for Rick. Bad gameplay aside, I think the incorrect voting term is harder to use on seasons with alliances set in stone. Seasons 1-17, 21-27, and 30 and 32, it is not as accurate to use this term since most of the time the votes are predictable. I think the term makes the most sense in more recent seasons, especially season 38 for example, where after the first 2 merge votes, it doesn’t really seem like there even is an alliance, it’s basically just all the smaller players going for the big threats. A lot of ppl technically vote incorrectly that season because there wasn’t a person that any of them weren’t willing to vote for. I do understand ur point tho and it makes a lot of sense. I just don’t know what else u would call it instead of voting incorrectly. If u think of a term let me know, I might adopt it.
I would've loved an Eddie win SO much. I sometimes wonder if the producers threw a puzzle element into the final challenge just to ensure he didn't win immunity.
It is most certainly locked in for Eddie. Michael, Reynold, Malcolm, and Andrea are locked in votes for Eddie. Erick more than likely votes Eddie and so does Phillip, so that’s it.
@@Chimyex17 it was a lock for Dawn. Despite what you might believe, Andrea and Malcolm vote for Dawn. Cochran and (surprisingly enough) Michael vote Dawn. That’s already 4 votes so even if it ties, Sherri votes for Dawn. Eddie wasn’t even a jury threat to begin with, and probably loses to everyone in the final 6 except Sherri
Wondering is this always a negative though? Could some players be voting for wrong person on purpose, to not burn bridges with the jury? I remember Eddie in Caramoan saying he only voted out one person on the jury so he could have a lot of jury votes if he got to final 3

Jay was the biggest dumb 🤣🤣
My fave Survivor content!
I think your evaluation of Jay's game is off. He played a really good game and was very strategic. His biggest mistake was making an alliance with Taylor, but he almost won the game for a reason. He reminds me a lot of Tyson but he played much better than Tyson did his first season.
Why at the end of micheles spot why she look like Steve carrell
What about a Rivalship? as opposed to a friendivalry
When will Jay come back?
When he's not constantly competing on The Challenge
i rooted for Eddie after that Dawn - Brenda Situation, too bad Cockyran won
RIP Sunday 😔
Although she didn’t vote correctly that much in WAW, Michele did play a great game in my opinion.
I'd actually watch that Survivor Game Changers 2 cast
Yall I remember Eddie being a cluster
What about worse voting record across multiple seasons?
keith nale legend
Keith Nale Forever
@@IdoledOut I cannot believe you responded, idoled out forever
I thought Fabio would be a contender in this video?
I'm surprised that Spencer wasn't on this list.
Spencer in Cambodia voted correctly everytime in the post merge outside of when Wentworth played her idols. Voted vytas, shirin, and woo correctly too. The only blindside he wasn’t apart of was Monica’s.
Spencer in Cagayan only voted wrong 6 times. So i think he’s right near the cut off for this video. Garett, Sarah, Morgan, Jeremiah, Tasha, and himself were vote offs he wasn’t a part of. But was also part of 6 votes that he did vote correctly at with David, J’Tia, Alexis, LJ, Jefra, and Trish. So I guess it evens out
I would say frivalry instead of friendivalry. It's a compound of both words and helps exemplify how dumb it is
Horrid Devens also voted incorrectly 6 times and was literally voted out
Ok, but calling him "Horrid Devens" kind of sounds like a personal attack
Remake this with owen included lol.
Owens 5 for 8 on correct votes surprisingly, Morriah, Jeanine, Sami, Karla, and Cody
So he actually has a better voting record than WAW Michelle
I love Jay I really hope that they bring him back at some point
Ball Savyness
"If you like this as much as Aubrey liked coleslaw..."
I'll stop you there sir. That's literally impossible.
RIP Sunday
Ideas for the combination of Friend and Rival:
Frivarly
Rivend
Frial
Riend
Frival
You're welcome🤣
Okay I LOVE your content, but maybe mix up the background music? I found your channel a month or so ago, and after binging your videos this music is making me go insane haha
I love a cochran win anyway
BEST VOTING RECORDS
It should be mentioned that Bret’s attitude at the final 10 tribal was disgusting and egocentric. His excuse after the rock draw was so asinine, it’s not even funny.
Brett shouldn’t be on this list! He voted in the majority for most of the game except for a few votes. 🙄🙄 someone rlly needs to do their survivor homework.
Aubry is still the best!!
