Just got a dent like this on my new truck. I just got done telling my kids to be careful opening the back door, then i opened my door right into our other car's side mirror 🤦‍♂️. One of my dad's car buddies has a PDR business and I watched him repair it on my truck (very similar technique as this video) and it truly is an art. This is definitely something I would never try myself!

Had a dent almost identical to this one in the video on a 2019 Audi door panel. Audi sheet metal in certain areas seems really thin compared to SUVs and trucks from Ford or others, but I was able to use the hot gun repair method with the pdr puller and pdr slide hammer. Spent about 40 minutes on it, and it's 93% gone and nearly unnoticeable unless you know where to look. All for a first-timer with a $35 Amazon kit.
For perfection, I'd definitely need $500 worth of tools like this video shows off. I'll live without them, though.

I own a bodyshop and bought a glue puller, the aluminum bridge puller and a set of pdr levers....nope. tried it multiple times. This is a skill few have. People really under estimate the time it takes to get this good and get it to look like nothing was ever there. I have done door dings and stuff like that for about 8 months and I am starting to do hail now but I can tell you I am no where near the Dent Wizard guy that comes out to the shop I have seen him save panels that we would have replaced. PDR is a great way to start a career that is rewarding, challenging, as well as fun. I learn something new every dent that I do and 350-500$ for a dent like this is definitely worth as you are paying for the tech's experience and knowledge as well as the time they spent investing in their tools and time spent doing the craft which a lot of people fail to realize.

If you're skeptical about the value of my PDR services, I can let you borrow a tool and watch you attempt it. But let's be real, you'll end up with more dents than a golf ball. PDR is an art that takes years to master, not something you can pick up in two days like a cheap hobby. My 32 years of experience have taught me the magic of making dents disappear faster than Houdini. And unlike other panel beaters, I don't just cover up the damage with paint. I take pride in keeping the car's original factory paint and preserving its value. That's why my clients happily pay for my services - they know I deliver quality work that's worth every penny.

You’ve got to be kidding…. If you want to trust your car to 2days of training be my guest. 2days of training lol…. It takes years to learn this craft…every car is built differently…. Dents in one area have completely access points then dents in others areas… different locations different sizes etc… education is key mate. This is not a 2day training and good to go trade. 2day training gives you basic fundamentals then the very very long road to actually learning the craft begins. 75% of people who start this trade quit and give up…. He makes it look easy because he put in the work and trust me there are years and years of experience that you cannot even fathom to get to his level. Mike is a true purest in his trade. I’ve been doing PDR since 95 and trust me… this guy is THE SHIT! Still learning a lot from watching his channel and I’ve been doing it for over 2 decades.

By replacing the door, you'll have to invest a significant amount of time and effort in ordering, prepping, and painting the new one, not to mention the hassle of removing and reinstalling it. Furthermore, by blending it into another panel, you'll be sacrificing the original factory paint, which could ultimately result in a less-than-desirable outcome. To put it succinctly, it seems you've cut off your nose to spite your face, my friend.

It’s good but it’s too expensive . This magic will work till people will learn that actually you can fix it for less than 140 $ with spray cans . It’s all about exercising and get the experience.
