@@gandolin66 yeah Dave is definitely good. He hits hard, writes catchy parts and has great rudiments. But he's not on Chamberlin's level as a player period, not even close bro. I guarantee Jimmy can play anything Dave has ever played without breaking a sweat, and I guarantee Dave can't play 1/2 of Jimmy's catalogue
@@gandolin66Dave’s good, no doubt, but he plays for show too. Cymbals up high, arms flailing around. JC plays like a jazz drummer because he is a jazz drummer. And if you have a drummer that understands jazz, you have someone that can play anything.
What a band! Yesterday they gave one of the best concerts in Portugal. Congrats Kiki. Why a great addition! You rock girl. Being following you for some time. This boys and girls rocked 🎸 🎵 🤘👊🏻 Attitude, technique and art! Fxckxng great!
Thanks for the video! I was there, just awesome. Heartily recommend seeing them live, laptop speakers don't do justice to how unbelievably powerful they sound in the flesh.
Siamese Dreams.and mellon colly for me. Especially mellon colly. Tonight i go see them in Rotterdam, so excited. I'm going alone because everyone in my circle have nothing with smashing. 😅
@@TeddyKGB1991 Dunno what to tell you but maybe you're expecting the live performance to sound too much like the recorded one. I saw RHCP live in 1999 and loved them.
Listening to the crowd sing along to mayonnaise…… people in their late 40’s and early 50’s chasing away and making piece with their teen anger and fears, love it, always gives me chills!!!!
great show, and such a great lineup: from the one D'Arcy, we have two: a great bassist guy and a cool vocalist / acoustic guitarist girl, plus, half of Billy turned into an electric guitarist girl :) great metamorphosis... and great is, too, what's unchanged! great to see them and hear them play
Cool show and great setlist! Fun, and a little weird, to hear the old songs being played in “album tempo”, rather than the up-tempo that they used to, in the 90’s, not critisizing, just an observation.
Kiki did an amazing job, and was adorable! I wonder why she left during "Tonight, Tonight?" 🤔 "Panopticon" - everyone's first performance except Billy. 😀
The band recorded that in 2007, 2008 before Jimmy left. They released a live version on the If All Goes Wrong DVD but have never (to my knowledge) released or leaked the studio version.
It's like walking back into the 90s when we were wild young and free. My 2 favourite bands in the world is the Cure and Smashing p , be it sad happy or old as I am now this to me is Heaven
I think Kiki’s outfit is the first time skin-tight clothing has ever been worn on a Pumpkins stage. I’ve never seen Billy or James in so much as a short-sleeve shirt.
Kiki barely played.. She was just standing there on most songs... Thought she was gonna do some cool leads :( So she's 2nd rhythm guitarist? Sounds like she will get bored, she needs to shred lol
Kiki will settle in. Considering she just started playing with them. And there's not much room for shredding with Billy and James playing their parts. Her backup guitar is awesome and really important. They picked a damn fine musician for the part.
Jimmy Chamberlain is on a totally different planet. What a beast!
100p goat in my book for 90s rock drummers
Awesome hearing then play the Oceania material with him, he killed it
Have you ever watched Dave Grohl playing the drums? So you know how a real beast looks like.

Ganas tengo de verlos, pero no se acercan a Bilbao 😂😂😂

I saw the Pumpkins once in 2000 in Denver at a Tower Records in store appearance.
Haven’t seen them since but I think this summer is gonna be it. 🤓
My ex GF was there that day @ Tower Records in Denver and got me an autograph from Billy!

Great to see Billy fully embracing his inner Uncle Fester over the years.
Great recording 👏🏼 great set !!
What a night.. great concert. Thank you guys ❤️
love birch grove and springtimes
I LOVE "Birch Grove." Billy left out the opening lyrics, though. ("I foresee a time without me...") 🤔
Amazing set list!!
Fantástica grabación, muchísimas gracias!! A ver si aprendo algo,me muevo demasiado igual,en fin... Muchísimas gracias,he disfrutado muchísimo!! 🤩🤩🤩
Full timestamped show, nice one 👌
Kiki looks like she joined Slayer 😎
this was my favorite song in early 90's, Cherub Rock
Seeing them in Pittsburgh next week. Only been waiting for 30 years 😂 🖤
Amazing show.... I love SP forever
Doomsday Clock is awsome! And neat cover of Zoo Station. I just might have to see this show when they come to the States.
Do it. They were also great in NL. Much better than the last time i watched them around 2010
Mayonnaise and thru the eyes of ruby 💯
Amazing songs
Great
Billy, James & Jimmy are amazing......
Tnx from Chile 🎉
Panopticon is spectacular!
It really was a great gig. Both Pumpkins and Weezer smashed it out of the park.

Loved being there so much. The bit where James dropped during Zero and makes Billy laugh proper tickles me 😂😂
I can’t tell if James was laughing after Billy messed up the Mayonnaise solo.
so glad they're bringing back stuff from oceania, sounds marvelous. same for the ATUM debuts, way better than record versions.
They covered U2 ten minutes in, wow. That song is fire though
Zoo Station was performed by the Pumpkins before back in the Sacred and Profane tour
