Raaah, that M240's quiiiick! You need to get your hands on one of them for a review or a comparison vid. I love those old school turbo type cars My Mrs has a Juke Nismo and it's the same type of thing. Personally though i've always had autos and would probably go with the auto, as you said Rik its more of an effortless type of drive which I prefer. But yea man another classic vid fam Bring on part 3!!

Really great set of videos I'm currently looking at buying an M3 or M4 convertible. Will want to remap (especially if get the convertible to offset the weight) and loving the idea of manual. Have you had any clutch slippage issues with your remap on the manual?
I honestly never understood why anyone would buy a car like this in an automatic. Maybe it is just because I am so used to driving motorcycles, but I think that automatic transmissions dumb down the aspects of driving that are fun.
Interesting to see that both cars do the 'thrap' with the gear change. I assumed that was just a dct type of thing and that the manual would not do the same but it does in your manual M3. Is that the secondary cat thats doing that? cos my stock M4 manual exhaust does not do that...even with a Hex stage one tune (which by the way is a very voilent/jerky tune haha)
I also use to think it was only dct, trust me it does do it, put it in 3rd or 4th gear start from low down in the rev range and flatten your foot as the car comes on boost let off the throttle and it'll make the sound, you don't wanna come on full boost, just before it fully kicks in you let off only 3rd and 4th gear. Also when hitting close to the rev limiter if you let off the throttle it should make the sound too

Thanks, Difficult man because you always want what you aint got right, i really do like th 63 coupe's starting to see a few on the road now but there alot of money. Honestly hard to awnser i mean it's nice to switch it up sometimes but if you want that driver engagement its obviously the bmw. Me i'd go m3 over m4 only because it's a rarer sight on the road but personally you couldn't go wrong with either the sound of the mercedes though....
Gassed Up it's like anything that goes to court, the judge wants to see facts not opinions or thoughts of what someone thinks so just like you said if your speedo is not on screen it's gonna be very difficult to prove your doing 130mph in a 30 zone 👀. And I'm not saying your wrong but I mean if this was just a wreckless video of me speeding around with no point to the video apart from showing how fast I can drive then that would be understandable. But I mean even if a policeman was watching this now this is a informative video it all goes with the theme of the video, the main focus isn't the fast scenes but more the info
Hi, great video, really enjoyed it and turned out like I thought. I've got the F80 6MT and bought it because of Nick Murray's review where he said the manual was the best fun. Btw I recon all the M3s and 4s that crash will be the DCTs loosing control! The manual is easy... foot off the pedal or push in the clutch. Last thing I totally agree with is the turbo on the manual is old school and reminds me of my first car the Renault 5 GT Turbo! ( but with an extra 300bhp.
