I so much appreciate your explaining why a fitted shirt compared with an oversized one makes such a difference in how you may or may not be satisfied in how you look and feel in a simple white button-down shirt! Also for explaining how to make a fitted shirt work without looking boring or dowdy. This particular video has been so so helpful. You seem to be able to parse out the subtleties of what makes a look or item of clothing work (or not) and explain it in a way that is easy to understand and use.

A button up is a shirt that buttons up the front of the body all the way. A button down is a shirt that has buttons on the collar points that you can, well, button down.

When you tie a knot in a shirt or scarf make sure you tie it correctly ie right over left then left over right or you will have tails that poke in weird directions. When you hold the tails (try this with string or a bandanna) right hand over left hand stop then left hand over right hand. Thats why its called a square knot.
I love white shirts but they go yellow at the collar and cuffs from sunscreen and makeup. Any advice on how to restore them to their whiteness? Bicarb doesn't work on sunscreen.😪
Since I changed up my workout routine and built up my shoulders, I can’t wear commercially made button up shirts. I’ve gone back to making my own, and I make them with a yoke: they’re fitted to my shoulders and tailored to my bust, and then loosely tailored from under the bust for full ease of movement.
I have never been able to figure out why most white shirts do not look good on me! I am 5'4" with a short torso and rectangle body shape. This was so helpful!
Tbh, I like the "don't" version in the thumbnail the best. A couple of the dos are ok, but the first one looks comfortable, unfussy, and classic. It also makes your proportions look very good, tall and slim.
White silk button down shirt is a lot easier to wear for petite ladies. They are closer to the body, hugs the curves, softer and feminine. You can tuck it in or tie them up.....
I've been watching your vlogs in preparation for my next trip. May I know your thoughts on denim skirt with slit? I have watched your vlogs about skirts but it's not really about denim skirt with slit. Love your vlogs by the way, thank you! ❤
I suggest sitting down in a skirt with a front slit before you decide to buy it. It can be hard to keep yourself ‘under cover’ if you know what I mean, while sitting in a skirt with a deep front slit!

I think the quality of fabric makes a difference too. Better to have one or two quality pieces than a bunch of junk that doesn't fit you right.
