I hope that my message is clear, bikelife is our sacred place that so many of us of go to escape the everyday madness. If you are bringing violence and chaos to this sport, you should not have a place within it.

I’m a big gun advocate, being from the south & I really appreciate you focusing on the ignorant use of firearms over the moral legality of them. I carry a gun more than I ride my motorcycle, but I use my motorcycle more than my gun. Enough to know gun ownership & manufacturing isn’t the problem, but improper use of them are. I hope both criminals are found & pay their debt to society & I thank you again for being transparent & clear, rather than political & view chasing

@@brian636 it’s refreshing man, I’m into niche things like firearms & motorcycles, etc. It makes me feel less crazy that a guy on the other side of the country gets me more than my family. I appreciate you speaking up about a problem without ostracizing the people that act appropriately. From my vantage point many people are like “guns=bad mkay, don’t use them” “motorcycles=danger mkay, don’t use them” & don’t consider the people who participate in those activities safety & responsibly… always loved the stunting & as I mature, I love you keeping the bar raised. Real grown adult stuff, much support from SC

Hey bro, opening up about loosing your dad and how much the city and shit means to you is genuinely heartwarming, hopefully people like you really start bringing chicago together, I live in Louisville kentucky and honestly I feel you, we’ve had multiple shootings so close to my campus and even a mass shooting at a bank down town, it’s heartbreaking seeing this city I grew up in falling to peices, and any time I meet kids who are in all the violence and dealing with it, I really feel for them, and I sit and talk to them, whether they know me well or not bc I, like you, really wanna try to put positivity into these kids minds, I met a kid who had lost his uncle, cousin and brother in this city, and I just told him to find his own way and bring as many people with him as he could, im glad you make videos like this, keep up the good work👍

That's awesome that you work so hard to have a positive impact in your community. I can't stand the city drama and prefer to hide out in the hills. We all do our best to keep each other accountable over here. God bless you!

I hope everyone finds a way to bring it together as a whole just as I’ve seen so many times through ride videos.
Mad respect 🫡 to Brian for putting this out publicly. “ hold your peers accountable “ real talk though

I’m thankful there’s people like you that will make these videos calling out people like this because i’m sure i don’t speak for myself when i say i don’t want bikelife to get a bad wrap because of a few selfish individuals. Lots of us love this sport and its so shitty people gotta go doing things like this because it makes our community as a whole look bad.

I was wondering if you were going to touch on those two incidents. Much respect for what you said. People have pulled guns here while out on a ride, I refuse to go on those group rides now.
    Be safe man.

Never been part of a group ride but I live near south bend Indiana which is becoming an extension of the greater Chicago area. There has long been a "turf war" here by people from the Detroit area and the Chicago area. Lots of senseless killing here also. My condolences to you for the loss of your father. I can't imagine what that must be like, ride safe. And keep doing you bro.

Good stuff Brian, really appreciate what you had to say. Holding our friends and peers accountable for their actions is so important. It's sad, all these mayors and police who have seemingly put forth their best efforts to address gun violence only ever handle it with Band-Aid situations.
Statistical social science and quite frankly anecdotal experience tells us that poverty is the number one driver of societal violence including gun violence. Poverty itself is violent in nature so people in it respond by acting violently. Nationwide we will continue to have a gun violence problem until we address systemic poverty and provide better access to opportunity/mental health services/neighborhood resources so people can lift themselves from it.
