It's been a few years since my first Five Nights at Freddy's Lost Bits video and since then a few games have been introduced to the series. As I release this video, Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach has just launched, and although I plan on covering that game in a future video, here I wanted to go back and check out Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted and see what it's got in store! This FNAF game has a bunch of unused content from cut graphics, audio and more! Hope you enjoy!

The fanmade models are mostly a inclusion of steel wool staff looking up stuff on google and accidentally using fanmade models thinking they were offical renders

I don't think that's the case. Having Scott have to re-render a lot of shots just for them to have a reference would be pretty inefficient, especially due to there being TONS of fanmade models and renders they could base stuff from
@@FlooferLand He could literally just send them a link with the models inside of the link, then have Steel Wool actually work with them
@@Mewtwo_150 That's really not possible (not a good idea anyway). Scott's models are VERY high poly and aren't optimized for 3D games. The way rendering works is that your GPU goes trough all the points in a model, for every model, stitching all the points together and calculating stuff like textures and UV positions. Help Wanted wouldn't even be playable because of how laggy it would be if Steelwool didn't make new game-ready models because of how many points your GPU would have to go trough every frame (this is also one of the reasons why games lag when they're set on a very high graphical setting, if your GPU isn't a 3090 that is).

I thought Scott called out that that teaser was taken down bc the Spring Bonnie model Steel Wool artist used was from fan art they mistaked as Scott’s
If I remember right, from the interview with Dawko. Steel Wool revealed that the MultiPlayer map was something that they were testing on but never intended to put in the official release. It was very funny to see their reactions when Dawko told them fans had found code for the unused MultiPlayer. They just said “of course they did” lmao

At the ten minute mark, as a developer in Unreal Engine 4, yes that is Debug Text. Those are warning when a system is doing something improperly. Mostly its just for when the engine wants to scream at you about unbuilt lighting : /

The unused princess quest graphics are actually reused for security breach where there is a playable arcade game which is princess quest (working title) where the old man, princess swinging the sword and all the map graphics are used there
Thought they are in Part 2 and 3 (There's three Princess Quest consoles in Security Breach) the Old Man is just in Part 2 though

a few small things i want to point out:
1: the recoloring of bb is likely a refence to Dee Dee
2: the small freddy animatronics are called "freddles", not "freddies"
3: while "showtime" never got fully implemented, the showtime button is still used to obtain the true ending
Steel Wool actually gave a rundown on how Flashlight Freeze would work, at least on consoles. Essentially, players out of VR on controllers would control animatronics trying to attack the vr player in the center of the map.

That honestly sounds really fun
The "end showtime" is kept out of bounds so that the positions of the "showtime" and "end showtime" buttons can be swapped fast without having to load one, then kill it, then load the other one. The showtime was scrapped really late in development, so it didn't make a lot of sense to even remember that the "end showtime" button was there, and so it was never unused.

@@Xhepyxopila When I say it's unused, I mean "the game files have it, but it's never loaded"; in this case, it is loaded, so it's not unused in that sense, it's just unseen

The achievement was repurposed from getting to the showtime to getting the three main animatronics' figurines in one place

fun fact, that vampire helpy drawing is something called a colored sketch.
it's something digital artists tend to do in order to plan out the colors before the lineart process.

Here's some corrections on some of the topics:
• The "Glitchtrap" animatronic also has an alternative name, that being Virtualtrap. I'm not so sure if it's used in game files.
• Balloon Boy's jumpscare was supposed to be used in the Trick or Treat section, but since BB jumpscaring the player wouldn't be so effective, the devs decided to use nightmare BB to jumpscare the player. Ironically enough, Balloon Boy would get a jumpscare in Special Delivery
The reason why there is a lot of fan-made models is because steel wool Studios didn't know what was the fan-made model and what was official even Scott said he is not surprised that his fans can do as well or better than him.
I would ask "Why didn't Scott send over assets to them for reference?", but even AAA game studios have this problem (* cough* Okami Wii's boxart and Smash Ultimate's Spirits * cough*)

Steel Wool (Developers of this game) recently shed some light on the scrapped multiplayer mode. You would have 1 player wearing a VR headset, with up to 4 others with controllers. The player with the headset would be a guard, and the other 4 would have been animatronics. The rest explains itself.

Fun Fact: In the new "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Ultimate Guide" book, Spring Bonnie's official model was revealed.
Edit: Also Funtime Foxy in the original teaser is yet another fan-made model.
Aron Fetcher is a genius, but also pretty crazy.
Scott dodged a bullet with that one.
Fun fact: the curse of dreadbear dlc had a time limit on context so the graphics for the dates oct. 29 and 31st where there to let the players know the playable modes/minigames are not ready till the date show. They did this in short to give everyone a fair chance to find any secrets from what I heard.
I don't usually get scared by horror games, including FNAF but in VR? I can't even get past night 2 in the game without quitting out of fear.
Same, honestly. I got through the first 4 nights of FNAF 1 and I've been perpetually stuck on night 2 of FNAF2 out of pure fear. Anyone who says FNAF isn't scary hasn't played it in VR and needs to. It's literally a whole new perspective on the series.

When an object has the name 'proxy' in 3D Games / animation, it's usually referred to a temporary (soon to be removed / replaced) asset.
About Springbonnie, there were some leak pages of FNaF: The Ultimate Guide (which is like a third version of The Freddy Files), in one of those pages you can see a Springbonnie model, maybe that's the model they cut from the game (and no, it's not the Adventure one from FNaF World)

Part of me wonders if the showtime thing was patched out because they hadn't decided on the voices for the characters yet. They've changed a lot over the years in the small snippets we've been given and only recently did we even get canonical voices for main versions of Freddy and Chica (the Glamrock versions from Security Breach.) I know Foxy finally got definitive voice in his little rail-shooter minigame, though.
I cannot even imagine the lost parts of security breach 😳

The unused Princess Quest sprites are actually used in Security Breach.
You can play up to 3 Princess Quest to get a better ending.
I have NEVER heard an explanation for those animatronic pictures before! I was still under the belief that they had something to do with the production of the movie!
The chica model during the Showtime concert actually uses the unused cupcake model you mentioned in the video.
It’s funny. If there is one group of characters in all of fiction that doesn’t need to have a established canon voice, than is it Freddy and the gang. Because you know, they are show robots and probably get their voice hardware and software swap out all the time

The multi-player mode was confirmed in an interview with youtuber Dawko for Security Breach
Erm, the hidden images were also axed in order to avoid any connections with the upcoming FNAF movie. Around the time Help Wanted was released, a few mockups from Blumhouse Productions were released, believed to be props for the animatronics. Oh, and another thing-- the cover art from the game is fan-made too.

About that Springbonnie model, The Freddy Files: Ultimate Edition features an actual image of Springbonnie, and it's likely that it's the model Steel Wool made, then scrapped. It's not just a repaired Springtrap though, it's a slightly unique design which is interesting. Although he probably looked different, that's technically his official look

Something in that cut song that caught my attention is Chica implying that she'll steal everyone's pizza, because that's the personality Glamrock Chica has in Security Breach, it's how you outsmart her twice, her obsession with eating pizza. I wonder if that's intended as a nod to what never was…

The fan made poster probably came up for them when they did the “quick google search” that you suggested- Also the developers literally thought most of the stuff was Scott’s and even the game teaser with Spring Bonnie in the picture was a fan pic, and the devs couldn’t tell it was non-canon ;-;
In the Freddy Files book, (a book all about the behind the scenes of five nights at Freddy's, as well as lore, theories, character descriptions, and more) in the character description of Spring Bonnie an unused image of Spring Bonnie from FNAF Help Wanted is used
The stuff that was unused in princess quest returned in security breach for princess quest 2 and 3.

about the last “showtime” bug patch, some parts of the concert are still able to be seen in some vhs tape spread on the internet. more similar to an actual parent recording a child’s party. it’s actually less corny but more so cute, as its seen to be a literal birthday party instead of a strange bug. still kinda mad because it was removed because its a nice addition though
People have also found the actual official springbonnie model.

Hey! at 9:08 those graphics where actually used whenever the curse of dreadbear dlc was out, not all the levels were given at once and so they put those graphics there so you would know when to expect those levels to appear.

Recently FNAF TH-camr Dawko, interviewed Steel Wool Studios and asked them about the Flashlight Freeze game mode, Steel Wool said that this game mode was never intended to be part of the game and was just a game mode they made to play around with and have fun.

The one with balloon boys mouth open is an early version of phantom bb since in the original game phantom bbs mouth opens up really wide

The 2 curse of dreadbear ones with different dates was for different nights for early players to be exited for the release of the nights

I believe the lolbit stand by graphic was displayed on the tv before it got replaced by a graphic promoting the dread bear dlc
apparently the showtime button works, but only when the curtains are open and the show stage is exposed, i remember in marks play thru he had the stage revealed but didnt try to push the button, tho someone got it and uploaded it, idk if it was legit or not but it was sick

The swinging sword princess and old man textures are princess quest 2 and 3 in security breach
The blacklight animatronics can be brought back into the game without much hacks. If you do a command to activate showtime while in hard mode, the 4 blacklight animatronics are what are on stage (with all textured)
