First haha! Do you know how to stop buying so many film cameras, a month ago I had 3 now I have 13 xD. But Im struggling to figure out this AE-1 issue I have tore the whole thing apart and for some reason the shutter does not release and I have to pull the curtain to be able to cock the shutter again. Thank You!

I am not the one to ask unfortunately 😅 I have a disease and I keep thinking the cure is more cameras (it’s not) which curtain is it?

I will have to try your light meter repair as mine does not work so I use a Minolta hand held light meter I got given to me

Is there an easy solution to the drooping self timer lever? Seems pretty common on cheap spotmatics. Thanks.
