One of the things that bugs me about these people is their blatant dishonesty. I recently saw the headline for an article about "gun safety groups". Just the headline because if they won't allow comments then they want a sermon, not a discussion (typical). The dishonesty comes in several categories ... willful ignorance (pretending to knowledge/expertise they clearly don't possess), emotional manipulation (WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN!) and, well hypocrisy. The hypocrisy comes from their very names ... "Gun Safety Group". We all know they don't care about gun safety, what they want is to take your stuff. They don't like guns so nobody should have them. They don't want to accept the responsibility of gun ownership so nobody (except for Police, Military and paid security) should carry them. They can't be bothered to protect themselves, so they want to take away your freedom to do so. . Thieves and liars one and all. If they were "Fire Safety Advocates" they'd literally stand in a burning building, beg for the Fire Department to come and save them and then get mad at you for owning a fire extinguisher. Then they'd say to ban them because someone huffed the CO2 and died. They'd blame the flames for the destruction of their house, not the guy who set it on fire or their own incompetence deep-frying tofu squares (yeah ... I went there).
I agree with you 100%. But, I do want to point out - The people advocating for Red Flag laws are also the people who will call you racist for eating tofu.

Almost like they want mass shooting events so they can sieze more power.
When will they realize that you can't legislate evil away? It's mind boggling that they haven't figured this out.
They know that very well. These ghouls don’t give one shit about your safety. It’s all just about control, and the ability to impose their batshit beliefs on you. They know an unarmed populace is easier to control.
To them I think it is more about having more control over people. Remember what the primary role of the second amendment is.
Probably about the same time they realize you can’t legislate prosperity. Taking money from people who earned it and giving it to people who have no idea how to manage it has about the same result as gun control.
they are trying to legislate evil in, not out.. when will people figure that out? there is only 1 way to stop it at this point and no one has the fortitude to actually do it.

The annoying part is that the news will never cover the story when somebody stops a mass shootings.
Laws cannot protect you from a person who is willing to break them.
Thank you Colion for doing this video. I live not even 2 miles from both spots in Lewiston Maine where the shooting took place. I immediately spring into action as a protector of life as a citizen and I must say my family and I felt much safer owning and knowing how to responsibility operate firearms. Many of my loved ones have since reached out and are going to get their first firearms since the shooting. We need do protect 2A at all costs. Only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. 🙏🙌🇺🇸
Well i live less that one mile from where Card was found some crazy shit.
In your imagination, you must look like Ralphie shooting Black Bart. In reality, you probably look more like Kyle Rittenhouse crying on the stand because he was so afraid.
💯🤗
“Many of my loved ones have since reached out….” Funny how reality overturns the it-will-never-happen-here myth. It’s fun training and guiding new 2A members.
I used to live in Maine back in the late 80's and darn near everyone was carrying something. When I heard how many people were shot I asked my husband how nobody at any of the locations was carrying and didn't stop this guy. I hope they are able to track which branch of government dropped the ball and hold them accountable. I've said it once & I'll say it again - We don't have a gun problem, we have a mental health problem.
I think because both places served alcohol they may have been "gun free" zones. I'm not 100% though.
They were gun free zones

State Capitol area (25 M.R.S. § 2904 & DPS Rule Chapter 41)
Private property when prohibited by the property owner
Establishments licensed for on-premises consumption of liquor, if the premises are posted. Note that even if there is no posted prohibition, it is illegal to carry on these premises while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs. (17-A M.R.S. §1057)

Labor disputes and strikes (32 M.R.S. § 9412(5))
Baxter State Park (as prohibited by Rules)
Allagash Wilderness Waterway (as prohibited by rules)
So you would be right on that assessment.
It's a little different here in MI. I can carry in a place that has a liquor license as long it does not receive its primary source of income on liquor served in glasses. Meaning, in a bowling alley I can carry and I do.I just don't drink. Funny how these people always hit soft targets huh?

Ah yes, the classic "the government doesn't do its job properly so the solution is more government". Don't let them get away with this one, fight for your god-given constitutional rights!

Not to disparage Mr. Noir, but being better at that is such a low bar it might as well be drawn on the ground in pencil. You have to actively try to do as bad as the mainstream media is doing.
I wonder why some so-called men are so afraid of losing their guns? Guns don't kill people, people kill people. And that means guns don't defend your family, people defend your family. You can't have it both ways.

No one can justify him still be allowed to own firearms and the police effectively giving up because they couldn't seem to cross paths with the guy. I usually agree with Colion on most stuff, but in this case it's completely legitimate and IMO above board for a judge to give local law enforcement a search warrant specifically for the confiscation of this guys firearms (under the presumption they are stored in his home). Even if he's not there, that should not preclude them from securing his firearms after he's been committed, is theoretically MIA and has made multiple specific threats of gun violence. The system working like this would not have any impact negatively on any law abiding gun owners. In fact, it would make us all look a whole heck of a lot better because it might assist in avoiding shooting just like this in the future. Make threats of gun violence like this guy did?
