The reality is unknown to young generation about Ramasami Nicker of Erode who was illiterate and ran away from house to Varanasi. He suffered a lot in Varanasi for food just like a poor street boy.He was insulted by Brahmins there; and he then decided to revenge Brahmin community fiercely. He was an Athest and against Hinduism and Brahmins. He spew poison on Hindu Gods -- Lord Ganesa idols were broken like coconut, chappal garland to many Gods & Godess(naked idol), worst comments on Mata Sita , Rama , Valmiki etc. Hindus started to hate him for his" anti- Sanaatan" ideology & activities. He induced to a mass killings of Brahmins(3% population in TN) and to burn their houses. He was in full support of British and against our Independance. He regarded Indians as fools to seek independance and he never participated in freedom struggle. Britishers utilised the Erode Old Man to divide Indians as Aryans and Dravidians. He scolded Tamilians as" Kaattu Mirandi" and the Tamil as "Kaattu Mirandi mozhi" & made worst comments on Tamil literatures. He used to write Tamil in his own way without grammer and proper spellings.
He had married his own 13 years old daughter at the age of 72 years against the moral and tradition. He condemned the marriage within the Caste. He was in Justice Party first and then founded "Black Shirts " Group of people(Davida Kazhagam-DK) with the Atheist ideology( anti-Sanaatan). CN Annadurai, Kalaizar etc were the followers of DK and latter they founded DMK. It came to power after a win in 1967 election by means of promoting "Hindi Porattam" in the names of Students in TN. DMK leaders & activists since 1967 have been started to praise , appreciate , celabrate & publish EVR as their leader and his so called social reforms and women freedom/ rights. Actually nothing was done by Periyar for the nation, people of TN and women. CN Annadurai also did nothing to TN during his short term( less than 2 years.). This is the truth and reality.
