Great route and beautiful scenery! Reminds me of some rides over here in the US through southern part of Appalachian Mountain chain. Great to see ya up and about and riding. Keep up the great content. Ride safe, Cheers from the US!
Morning pal Your gonna have to send me some routes over so I can pop across and have a scenic ride round your area. Anyway how ya keeping Still happy with the Ninja not tempted for a Z H2 yet 😂
Doing loads better a lately thanks. Was thinking of upgrading to a Superduke GT but …. My mate has had no end of problems with his KTM so not sure about them now. Zh2 is a beast I need check insurance out 🤣
I see your still using your quick shifter frequently, didn't you have to rebuild the tranny and they told you the QS caused the problem? Was it determined that higher rpm shifting was the culprit, or what was the final determination on that? Glad to see you still out there!
Yeah I still use it but …. It turns out that lower the gear as in 1 to 2 the quickshifter is not ideal. The dealer told me I quote. “ The only time quickshifter should be used is when the throttle is pinned all the way and in higher gears. “ take that as you will.
I would think that the time to use it would be the rpm it shifts the smoothest at and avoid the rpm ranges that don't work well. I've quit using it to downshift because I'm smoother doin it myself. But smoothest upshifts seem to be in the 4-6000rpm range. @@THETURBOTONY
New to the page. Had my XSR 900 stolen and looking to get a 22 plate in the very near future. Have you had any of the earlier models? Wondering whether or not I’ll benefit from all of tricks with the newer model. I’ve been riding a couple of years and want a speed twin for the garage and the Ninja as my main ride. So! Cheaper Ninja say a 14/15 plate and a brand new Speed Twin. Or a 22/23 Ninja and a project build Speed Twin? Thoughts? 22/23 worth the extra dollar?
The 2020 plus is a much better ride mate. Ergonomics and tech is so much better than previous models. In my opinion id try find a cheap 2020 model but nothing earlier than that.
