Maybe for you but personally, I can sit for hours in the library and get more done in a day than a month at home. It doesn't matter how dedicated my study space is.
I am going back to school late (in my 30’s) and am currently taking chemistry (not my favorite subject). I’ve used some of your advice from your other videos and they’ve been very helpful. Thanks so much!
It's really nice to hear you've actually been applying the advice! Chemistry isn't my favourite either ahaha, but it has to be done You're welcome and all the best 🙌🏽
I've probably watched hundreds of videos like this but this video is one of the best it didn't include general tips and regurgitated methods so thank you I'll definitely be subscribing !
Thankyou for this video honestly because im constantly drowning in regret and guilt....not able to enjoy my free time properly and cant get any studying done either
I really really like those sound effects when a title or sub-heading is mentioned on the screen... that deep whoosh sound.... great editing and great vid ofcourse! I had been wasting time for like 4 hours now.. I'll get back to studying! Thanks Salim!
I’m going to save this video as I am starting nursing school and I need something to help straighten my mind. I’m beginning to love your video as I just encounter them almost a hour ago.
I am in my third year in medical school now . I really like your the way you build yourself . ı mean running all things together like studying , fitness , piano . Have you ever feel so sleepy while you're doing things and what you recommend if you had that feeling ? Because ı experinced with doing things together but ı faced with a heavy sleepy feeling that interrupts my work towards the end of the day . Thanks for helping .
Appreciate it 🙌🏽 i dont feel that to be honest, and I'm certain that's because i make sure to get a good amount of sleep (7.5hrs minimum). If you need sleep, definitely sleep, don't continue working!
Whenever I think why am I really studying medicine I cant get any answer, my brain just cant get beyind the idea that I just simply have to The only conclusion I get to is that I would have really regreted it if I didnt study med and that I will regret it if I dont get myself sit and study I feel I have no goal
in the video, you asked what strategy i use when i need to study but i can't/have no motivation. (Correct me if i'm wrong!) I do an overview on the topic that i feel like i'm weak in that and develop curiosity.. (Do tell me me if this strategy is good or reliable in medical school! because i'm looking forward to be a doctor!)
I failed at bunch of scholarships interviews, work interviews ect. Which is really demotivating. Studying for another one felt like a heavy task. Like theres no point in it because i'm going to fail anyway
It is a heavy task you're right, but if it helps knowing this - many of my friends applied for a very long time before getting a job. Some over 20 places, most quite literally over 100. Some took months to get a job, some a year or two. But at the end of it, it worked out and they're in a good place. Sometimes you've just got to keep pushing as hard as it is, and the efforts will hopefully pay off. Good luck!
I'm a 9th grader.I tried to focus fully on my studies putting my phone on another room. But i can't fully focus and absorb those infos accurately like a sponge.Things are not just sticking. What can i do?
Ask yourself questions to force active recall. Make your own study guide. Explain concepts to a study buddy or to yourself. Review old tests & exams. Read photo captions in the textbook. Get plenty of sleep. You got this!
Should I be taking notes during a lecture? I'm so confused on this because sometimes I don't even use the notes. I study directly from the textbook and it has worked well for me.
Have a dedicated workspace! Libraries aren’t always the best place to study.
For sure!
