This song is awesome, and everybody playing is a monster musician, but I was really anticipating Mark was gonna take an epic solo at the end.

When I first saw Mark on TH-cam maybe 6 or 7 years ago he was so clean-cut he looked more like a marketing manager but his playing was insane and original...
I see now he's settled into the Pat Metheny hair (which makes me happy) and his playing is still insane and original

That keyboard line in the beginning reminded me of Holst"s Jupiter piece from the planets. I wonder if thats intentional, I mean Jupiter isnt quite massive enough to be considered a dwarf star but its in the ballpark, some consider it a faild star, great track tho

Band overall is great. But that bass is just solid.
Need more bass guitar in these mixes generally. Frequency is good; but need more string tone, especially the slap stuff.

Wes you sure lay down the pocket.. I wish you good health and I imagine loosing some weight would give you even more energy to play those heavy grooves.
I can't be the only one who wants a version of this with a fixed shot on handsome Wes. That any human can focus and channel that much sustained energy into the task at hand is a marvel. Plus we missed seeing 0:59.

Sadly the amount of effort the bassist put in does not match the level of the bass in the mix (no treble, no definition). Otherwise groovy as always and a killer track for shure!
