This song is awesome, and everybody playing is a monster musician, but I was really anticipating Mark was gonna take an epic solo at the end. Everyone was in that pocket though; crazy tight! Thank you for the music!
I bought this cd and I tell u what I have a oem bose stereo in my truck, I put this in and wow... chops for days all of ya. Great mix. Your music has been a positive impact on my day to day.
When I first saw Mark on TH-cam maybe 6 or 7 years ago he was so clean-cut he looked more like a marketing manager but his playing was insane and original... I see now he's settled into the Pat Metheny hair (which makes me happy) and his playing is still insane and original
That keyboard line in the beginning reminded me of Holst"s Jupiter piece from the planets. I wonder if thats intentional, I mean Jupiter isnt quite massive enough to be considered a dwarf star but its in the ballpark, some consider it a faild star, great track tho
The most complicated intro of all times, just four notes, could only perform the bassman! Who else!!! Und what a f***in sound from the contraoctave. Great performance!
I was hoping a little bit the song would be related to the crazy UK sitcom of the same name. Best regards to the people currently living in a town occupied by Nazis.
That bass player is short, fat, and not very good looking. I care for him deeply though. He should lose weight so that he doesn’t die and stuff. You know….. because I care. #care #carebear
Wes you sure lay down the pocket.. I wish you good health and I imagine loosing some weight would give you even more energy to play those heavy grooves.
I can't be the only one who wants a version of this with a fixed shot on handsome Wes. That any human can focus and channel that much sustained energy into the task at hand is a marvel. Plus we missed seeing 0:59.
I'm reading through comments while listening to this kick ass grooving and ready to tell this commenter to fuck off then I realize who the commenter is!!! You fucking kick ass, Wes!!!
Sadly the amount of effort the bassist put in does not match the level of the bass in the mix (no treble, no definition). Otherwise groovy as always and a killer track for shure!
@@czarpaul01 Absolutely! Here's another session for Supro with Matt Ramsey on bass (he rips as well!): th-cam.com/video/iEaihitxb0I/w-d-xo.html And then him with Kirk Franklin th-cam.com/video/wRwId2RfmfA/w-d-xo.html ..killer bass sound!
i've been playing bass for about half a year now and this bassist is exactly wht I aspire to be
Mark's gear then: signature PRS guitar, MXR pedals, Bacci baritone
Mark's gear now: Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Table
I came here to listen the sitcom Red Dwarf's main theme, but this is a very nice surprise!
BASS is AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!
Wes is just a beast on the bass
That barytone guitar is something !...And Mark knows what groove means !...Your are all great guys ! Pocket..pocket;..pocket !!
This song is awesome, and everybody playing is a monster musician, but I was really anticipating Mark was gonna take an epic solo at the end.
Everyone was in that pocket though; crazy tight!
Thank you for the music!
He did take a solo on the Laugh 'N Learn.
Such a fun album. It's great to see these guys playing in the studio.
That bass player...DANG!
I'm in FULL-ON STANK FACE right now!! It was so musical and so tight! I loved the melodies and harmonies.
I unplugged my headphones from my own guitar for this. Best decision I ever made
I can’t believe this is real. My heart is pounding!
I bought this cd and I tell u what I have a oem bose stereo in my truck, I put this in and wow... chops for days all of ya. Great mix. Your music has been a positive impact on my day to day.
Great bass player!!!
drummer is fantastic. whole band is great!! bass guy...geez.
The whole group is fantastic! Amazing sound!
That low end is absolutely growling. Wicked tone
Mark is always amazing! But that bass tone... just wow.
yeap! Indeed....
We need a live "green green yellow blue" :)
"Red" I listen to this tune at least once a day.
Absolutely Fantastic. I must have been living under a rock to miss this. Now I'm not! Cheers guys!!!
I cannot believe this view count. more people should watch this!!!
This is album of the year for me. I just never get sick of it.
Genius.
I feel the same, this album is amazing!
Awesome !!!
Such a cool groove! Mark is an amazing player and songwriter, one of my favorites.
2:45 so sick
I seriously hope the "red" on the album recording is played on a Fisher Price laugh 'n' learn as well.
It was played on this very one.
Such a genious
Amazing musicians!!
super clean!! nice work.
Oh the snare !
Wow!
This is some seriously groove heavy awesomeness.

One Note -Samba- haha
Love this!
Excellent.
Oooo, Mark on a Custom 24!
This is insanity. My god.

GrooooooOOOOOOOVEEEEE
Poeh so Nice ! ❤💯
Hey, a late Christmas gift! Lovely! Keep them coming.
Amazing!!!!!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩
I like Mark's McLaughlin-like economical finger movements - among others.
coooooooool!!!!!!!
Love the phaser on the guitar as always🔥🔥🔥
Sick Band
I always figured it featured some odd vocal sample, the Funker-Price is coming in clutch in a way I never anticipated
That’s what that noise is at the beginning!!! I’ll bet that’s one of Mark’s daughter’s toys
Woah, funky funked up 🙏👍♥️😎
Mark on a PRS & Wes on a performance bass? Wow never thought I'd see that lol
This is really groove sh..!!! 😁
Listening to this makes one feel like they're taking a license test in GT3: A-Spec
que temazooooooooo
OMG this is a funky tune!
Spettacolo
Супер Музон !
reminds me to the early Level42 stuff, cool
Such a great tune! Awesome!
Thanks 👍😘🇸🇪
More keys?
That pocket is so deep you can park your car in it. Damn
Woauuuuuuuuu good job🔥🔥🔥🔥 from Togo🇹🇬🇹🇬
this is tricky funky music, well done, thanks - wokimusic, Germany, nuremberg
Sublime...

Top class!
Fantastic stuff!
Interesting guitar tone...
mesmerizing performance !!! keys should be a bit louder
Jesus Christ that was kickass
Wasn't the Red Dwarf I was thinking of, but bad ass regardless
Anyone know what size kick drum that is?
As stated by the irreplaceable Goldmember in the Austin Powers movie -
“Toight like a tiger!”
I'm becoming concerned about the effects of long-term stank face. This stuff is dangerous.
Hello!!!!!!! This is incredible
damn
They are so tight it almost sounds like a computer, it's incredible.
Little bit of a Cory Wong vibe here 🙃
The Bass Sound ist great, i see that is a jazz bass but how does one get that fat tone?
Turn it up real loud 😂
00:15 I really didn’t know how made this cute sound... And now I know...
Need more bass guitar in these mixes generally. Frequency is good; but need more string tone, especially the slap stuff.
Band overall is great. But that bass is just solid.
The most complicated intro of all times, just four notes, could only perform the bassman! Who else!!! Und what a f***in sound from the contraoctave. Great performance!
...anyone know what kinda bass Wes is playing?
It’s a Performance jazz bass.
@@TheFunkyKnucklesDallas ...thanks 👍🏼
sounds like a jam session
I was expecting, “ It’s cold outside, there’s no kind of atmosphere” The TV Show.
the drum have more volume than the bass....
Dont foget the dynamic is missing ,,,
I was hoping a little bit the song would be related to the crazy UK sitcom of the same name.
Best regards to the people currently living in a town occupied by Nazis.
i thought this was going to be the theme tune from the tv show red dwarf... very disappointed

the mix of the bass isn't even tight enough
Yeah bass and keys not loud enough. Bass is fighting with the baritone, too. Tough to mix, I’d imagine
