@@PhillwithadoubleLSaw it this morning and I agree with a lot of your thoughts. Wasn't particularly enamoured by the Goodpool or Dogpool, but the film delivered what it says on the tin (not the biscuit tin). Enjoyed the cameos, thought the action was well done (not too choppy) and I smiled. Had no idea Hugh Jackman was divorced, (I assume that's the joke that Glenn was alluding to) but now I know why he decided to come back 🤣
I pretty much agree with you, Phill; almost too much 4th wall breaking at times, very thin plot (though it didn't really matter) and sometimes I felt the pacing was slightly jerky - in my opinion where they were having to use exposition to explain stuff that had happened in the TV show (most importantly *Loki* ) which I still haven't watched, though thinking back your point about 'different linked sketches' not always flowing makes sense to me too. However like both of you and the vast majority of people, none of the minor problems affected the fact that it was hugely enjoyable and (for once) that was its main purpose rather than to 'deliver a message' as a primary goal over making a fun to watch movie... and of course, the 'super cameos' as I have called them (a cameo being only in a single scene or only having 1 or 2 lines at most) were fantastic and actually _did_ (for me) support the missing areas of plot enough. So glad I avoided most of the trailers (especially the later ones)
@@blujustin4175 you did well to avoid trailers. Have to be so careful across social media to avoid any spoilers too… so much of a movie is so easily revealed / ruined / spoiled now days one way or another
I really enjoyed this review! Totally agree with you phill! The story was weak! But much fanservice to the people! I would love to see more videos like this! It just took time before I saw the movie! I didn't want to watch any reviews to spoil the film. Watched the movie tonight! Then immediately saw your review! Good job!
@@FridenProductions thanks man. Appreciate you going back to the review. Plan to do more kinda like this, straight from the cinema reaction. Probably want to shorten it down a little more though, worried that we perhaps rambled on this first attempt !
You two are the perfect example of typical reviewers. If you have high expectations, you'll be disappointed, but if you keep your expectations low, you'll enjoy it more. I don't like nitpicking, as it prevents one from enjoying the experience. For me the movie was great and worth every penny. Most people forget Deadpool movie was almost never made. The hurdles Ryan had to overcome to create this amazing project are truly impressive.
@@tbor-trendz some of the hurdles Reynolds had to overcome for this movie (and previous Deadpool) were pretty much mentioned in this movie too. Some very funny moments because of it.

@@PhillwithadoubleL I always avoid peoples reviews ( even spoiler free ) if I can. I like going in as blind as I can and then formulating a completely unbiased opinion. I will say I am a bit nervous with this one. Spider-Man No Way Home everyone loved. And seeing the old spideys etc was great. But I don’t actually think the film is that good. The narrative seems so forced in places. On my last watch I switched it off. And I’m kind of nervous this may go the same way for me

After watching this movie 🎥 in 3D , like all the other Deadpool movies you might as well be pissing in your pants ( figuratively speaking ) it may have some dark moments here and there but it’s something that I want to see again from everyone’s favorite potty mouth .Well worth it!!!😊👍
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, loved all the cameos and music choices. The best of the trilogy for me, nice one guys, take care👍😃👍
I was smiling throughout. I’m sure there was plenty that I missed too. I’ll be back for another viewing when it gets a home release
