Actually came out pretty cool... I have often considered making a slide out bed extender that would allow the little tracker to carry 8' sheets of plywood adding more utility to the vehicle.
Hey man that looks good. I'm thinking about doin mine but with some kinda sheet metal. Where can you find that long piece of cardboard at ? I looked on amazon but I really didn't see any wide enough. I did run across a few but they was to much. Thanks!!
Lol. That actually looks a lot better than I thought it would turn out. I want a 2 door 4x4 5 speed Geo Tracker so bad. With a lift, tires, rack, bumpers, skid plates, snorkel, and a winch. Would look awesome towed by my new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon.
I’m looking at buying a Tracker or Sidekick and use it as a daily around the town and have fun vehicle. I would be good with a two door that had a hard top as the tin top two doors are out of my price range here in NE Texas.
Probably a stupid question: When you do a conversion like that, don't you need a roll bar at the back to pass inspection? I don't know? Just wondering. Liked your video. Thanks. 👍😎🇨🇦
OHIO. No inspections lol. But i dont see why you would? Theres no roll bar there if you just take the top off just like a convertible car. No roll bar on thouse.

The roll bar is already built into the roof, if anything its stronger with the plywood in there.
Mine is a wall, no window. Fiber glassed. I do have a giant piece of plexi I was considering cutting into it... but its pretty solid atm.
I did that in my ol 88 Samurai, now considering it for my 92 Tracker. But making it so i can hardtop it for secure/dry storage over winter
I still have the hard top thought i might need it for a camper toper one day lol
Nice work. I like it.
$6:00 a gallon, try $2:07 a litre in Australia 😊
Fuel prices are high all over the world 😊
Cut the back off of a S10 extended cab and welded it into the back of the Geo tracker I did a bronco 2 chopped and welded in a back of a ranger cab
Love it.
Do you still have the hard top? Interested in selling it?
Not at the moment
I dig it!
Thanks
Love it!!
What size tires are those?
@@HomesteadOC in this video i still had the 7.00-15 bias plys on it. I put 31x10.50-15 on it now
Why does everyone with a tracker has a weiner dog??
Technically, it's already a light duty truck
looks super nice! if your looking for someone to take that hard top off your hands, i’m your guy😉
The Geo tracker is actually classified as a truck.
Yeah, so is your mom😂
