    Adding chili oil is another way of making supermarket curries taste better, more heat, more flavour

    I buy ghee for this kind of thing,plus cooking with it is great as it has a high smoke point 450°F/230°C Morrisons is where i get the ghee from !

    I mean, nothing wrong with a perfectly good chicken curry, but if they can't bring the full vindaloo experience, maybe it's just an issue of repackaging? Thanks for this Pap!

    What happened to the really hot ones Morrison’s did a couple of years ago? Vindaloo and Phall, they discontinued them.
    Every time I see a ‘hot’ supermarket curry it never is.

      Indeed Edison. When I reviewed the volcanic vindaloo, it knocked me sideways! The only really hot one out there currently is Iceland's carolina reaper curry :)

      @@Papparoni I loved em both, only supermarket one close is the reaper from Iceland but that’s all heat and no flavour… if Morrisons bring out again I’m gonna buy in bulk and freeze 👍👍👍 great review anyway paps 👍👍

    Ha hA! Another great video Sir! Tell me, when you record these videos, are you using your test subject as your main meal of the day (ok I know there is no rice etc, so perhaps not). But if I was doing this I would be the size of a house by now (I am about half way there...). Anyway, keep them coming mate. Mark.

    I tried that one and and agree realy good but not Vindaloo but spice level more Madras level.I Just done my online Iceland shop and their Indian and Chinese ready meals were on online offer at 5 for £5Just wish my chest freezer had more space to order lot more.I tried the Chinese special fried rice last night wasn't to bad.

      Can't go wrong with 5 for £5 eh Jackie. You could eat your way from the bottom upwards through your freezer to make more room. That's why I used to do when I had one :)

    I will certainly try this. I can easily turn the heat level up in this curry without altering the actual taste. I really wish Morrison's would bring back the phaal that they did a few years ago. It was so good 😋Great review Pappa 👍

    Looks like another great curry papps but I don't think we will get vindaloo strength unless it's from the takeaway the best I've had is from the authentic takeaway range which you have reviewed I picked up a beef madras and a chicken biryani from that range from home bargains 👍👍🥘🥘🌶🌶

    8/10 is definitely worth a shout, cheers! Also have a few new "spicy" curry sauce jars in for 99p. Might be worth a look if you want to do a cooking video? Bought them all but haven't tried yet so can't vouch for them!

    I love a good hot curry , vindaloo is my favourite 😋 , do u Eva remember the volcanic vindaloo in 2017 from morrisons , blew my head off 🤣🤣 at least it was as hot as it said it was.

    Hi Papp. Not bad going for 8/10 TTLB. It certainly looks vindaloo and with the added butter, it would definitely enhance the appearance and taste. A bit pricey for the quantity, but not for a 5 for me and 1 for you Investment Banker.
    I too like curry leaves.
    Unfortunately strong spicy flavoued indian tucker is something I cannot stomach anymore. It no longer agrees with me. Mexican food too.
    But I do keep a regular supply of naan bread in various sizes (mini) and flavours (garlic) for other culinary delights, such as pizzas, toasties and dipping.
    Well my foodi friend, it was good to see you enjoy this one.

    Hi pap im just catchin up on past video's this looks outstanding , i wonder if its still available? I implore u old chap to try aldi's own make spag bol frozen , i last got involved when i stayed with my elderly mum during covid 2 yrs ago it was 69p then and it was outstanding big portion full of meat and the garlic and herbs were evident in its beautiful aroma its the only pre packaged meal i would give a 10/10 considering the price , unfortunately there are no aldi stores near where i live in south london so i havent indulged for a long time and no doubt the price has increased but id love you to review it pap and see what u think imo its absolutely delicous , god speed u sir ✌

    It looks okay but I can't help thinking the price is a bit high and you only get 350 grams the Sainsbury version you get 400 grams for the same money I think I will just make my own you get more and it's half the price

      Morrisons is really pretty damn expensive. I was shocked when I went the other day - almost no beer offers on at all and the standard price for goods is significantly higher than Tesco etc. Maybe they’re trying to place themselves as a higher end store. You can’t beat them for meat selection though.

      I was speaking to the son of the guy who invented it and he was telling me how it all started in their kitchen and how he went to school smelling of Mr Naga due to the pungent fumes 🤣🤣
      They sell all over the world now and their local shop is Banglatown in Barking where I met the son who was working on the till
      Can’t believe the prices on egay or Amazon 😳
