Hey GT!! So great to see you, and we LOVE blackened Ahi so we are excited to see this being cooked on the Blackstone! Nice looking Ahi Tuna steaks. We always soak our fish for 20 minutes in cold salted water before marinating. Never thought to marinade with butter before seasoning. Your Blackstone is throwing some serious heat! Love that crust you got. $7 was a great deal for that fish! So glad you enjoyed it, but sucks it was a bit overdone, but it looked so delicious!! Great video and thanks for sharing!! Lots of love to you! 💖🌛😊🥰
Ahi is awesome, I just sear the outside and the inside is raw to rare at most. They do cook fast and you can watch the color creep up on the edge. Good stuff Gary!
Heard you talking about this on Kory's live show and it's not that bad! Maybe a little over done, but I bet it was delicious 😋 This just gives you more insight on how to cook them next time😀 Thanks for sharing this Gary!
ShakeaShakeaRoo. Lol.. waited for that! AhiAhi.. just hutter and seasoning. Nice! #unclestevesshake Thankyou for the genuine cook, HUGE RESPECT. Xoxo🥂👏👏❤❤
Wow thanks so much for the support Tommy. It was really tasty with that USS Gator on it. Molly burger copycat coming soon! Have a great weekend brother!
I love tuna and eat it out of a can all the time but cooking it fresh like this takes it to a whole different level....I LOVE cooking tuna steaks and even of they are overdone they are still delicious😋👍!
.I bet these Blackened Ahi tuna steaks on the black stone would taste great. Very true Ahi cooks super fast. Can’t beat it for being 7 bucks though!. Have a good weekend
Half a thumbs up is better than no thumbs up at all. At least you tried GT and you know for next time how fast of a cook it is. You’re a braver man than me. We avoid cooking seafood. - Cam
Tuna is not forgiving, even at 145 I would guess it might be overdone. I think 145 is just in case you bought the tuna that wasn't prepped right to kill any organisms that maybe inside the fish.
I am a confessed rookie when it comes to fish but always try to up my game. This was not a win but I did learn some lessons and am improving. I appreciate you taking the time to watch!

A little over baked but delicious.
Lol we discussed this. Had a great time on your chat. Can you be over baked? Oh wait yes you can. Have a great weekend brother!
I like blackened catfish - not a tuna fan. Great video on how to
Ohh I’ll bet I would too! We should do a colab LT
Looks good...sometimes hard to judge fish doneness
Lol not really but I blew this one. Learn something every time I cook. Thanks for your support!
I'm on Thumbs Up Street, what about y'all? Enjoy the weekend Brother.❤️
Thanks Lynn. Hope you’re staying safe!
I love tuna steaks. They are hard to do because you have to be perfect on the time and temp.
Yea but the taste was stupid good! Thanks for all your support Steve.
