Your curly maple sink is absolutely beautiful. Excellent job on the coloring of it. I bet it looks far better in real life than in pictures or on video.
I am always in awe of these turned burls. I look at trees in a totally different way in these past 20 years. The last one here is beyond beautiful. Heck they all are.
Love that Ambrosia wood bowl. Fabulous! I've never seen a hand turned bowl like that, with the bark framing the brim of it, lending it more unique character ....The Beauty of Wood Turning is that the outcome of each piece of wood is left up to the Artistic Eye and sense of Adventure in the Heart of the Craftsman.
Simon! You have such an artist's eye. I'm always impressed by your work, as you know. You are also much more confident in your work, too. You should go back and look at your videos from last year. You were so worried that you weren't doing well, but look at you now! I'm still very proud to own a piece that you made.
I've said to you before, Simon, that I like things turned from gnarly wood, and that bowl pushed my personal "Like" button. The sinks and end-grain bowl were simply beautiful, especially the color on the maple sink. Clyde
The bowl you just finished is beautiful I love the holes and the way you burned it to enhance the grain left you with a beautiful piece. I can actually see this bowl on the wall like a picture.
I really like the cherry basin, great pattern and colour, also the black green bowl, that is something else, I would ha e one for sure, love your work, keep it 👍👍
Amazing work! Very inspirational. My 18-36 laguna 2hp should come in soon. That’s how I found your You Tube channel. I was looking at reviews on this lathe. You do not disappoint. I enjoy your videos very much. Thanks for sharing.
Yet another outstanding piece! I am in awe of your work. Your set-up for the resin finish was/is very creative and produces a magnificent finish. Looking forward to your next vid.
Perfect! Absolutely beautiful! Good use of material, good camera work, good pacing, and thank you, thank you, Thank You! for not feeling compelled to stick a music bed under a fine video!
A that cherry sink is incredible! I love imperfect, hand made objects, so the wavy cherry is even more beautiful than the first impression you get. Imperfect work highlights the beauty of a man made object, as opposed to machine perfect. We get machine perfect all the time, so seeing an object that is intrinsically beautiful, but the way the artist chose to make it and the evidence of his work is what makes it beyond beautiful. Like you sir, you have skill and a good eye for beauty! Keep up the Amazing work!
The ambrosia ball is absolutely stunning I must say it is the most beautiful bowl I have ever seen I'm 58 years old it is a gorgeous one of a kind peace !
