I personally find so inspiring watching those large groups of amazing athletes training together, cruising through the land, supporting each other, challenging each other and leaving their very best on the road. Thanks Luis for sharing
More Vids Luis! Get a couple of out of training vlogs interlaced in. Would be super cool to see what you're getting up to in Kenya during rest and downtime.
Guys, guys, I need your honest opinion! I have 2 months to a 10K road race. I'm aiming for sub 46mins finish, currently my PR is little above 50 mins. Realistically how much can I improve until the race? Male 36yrs old, 3 years of running experience, not talented, run 60k/week. Thanks in advance! :)
Raise your daily mileage steadily to 10k; if you have been running for three years, then you should be able to handle it. If you push yourself, then running 4 mins faster is very possible
@@kylestephens9593 if you're running 60km per week I wouldn't raise it, just in operate more intervals and speed at 10 km pace or fast which is about 4:36 per km for you. I have ran a 16:53 5k on 35 km per week, it's about quality not quantity.
@@AlexM-hm2wb funny that you said it, i was actually planning to get my weekly kms to 80-85, because i got encouraged when i consistenty hit 60k (to previously 45-50k) i improved my 10k with 1:40min. but i guess 80k/week won't shave more than another 2mins in two 2 months. i will probably end up increasing the mileage (a bit, not much) and doing fast workouts because i really want a good finish, not just to participate. low 45 would be ideal, 47 will be a B goal.
It's great to see everyone step aside for a flock of people running in Kenya.

Here in the US, a group training run is 5 or 6 people. In Kenya, it's 25 to 50. Yet one more reason they're better than us.
