Doug rice is the voice of every in track announcer, always done a great job , would love to see Steve post , he’s been around since the 80’s tons of story
Wasn't going to listen to the episode because I didn't like the outcome yesterday at Homestead but I'm so glad I did when I saw Doug Rice was on the show!! Great guy and I'm really going to miss hearing him call races
I agree with everything said about Connor Jones. The penalty was no where near severe enough. He at the least should have been parked. Frankly, I think he should be banned. His racing record proves it. Ban him before he seriously injures or kills somebody
Benny Parsons was why Greg Biffle landed at Roush. Benny did the Winter heat series on ESPN and Biffle dominated those races, I think that late model Greg took down there is still one of the most scrutinized cars, cause no one believed Greg just set up his car better and flat out drove 'em. Benny said Gregs name to Jack in quick talk about the new truck team and 4 weeks later Greg was signed to Roush in the 50 truck.
No one will ever show the Glory of God again. Ross Chastain became a God. There will be great moves; but Ross became a God. Tyler was given the win due to Ryan running the bottom even after seeing driver after driver getting passed on the top. Ryan spotter or it was just Ryan that messed up. Ryan should of went to the top on the last lap to block Tyler's speed. Ryan was slower due to Denny and Tyler had a run.
The lack of decent driving standards and lack of proper officiating in respond to these incidents is gonna get someone seriously hurt. Matt Mills is honestly blessed that the worst he suffered was smoke inhalation and not injuries from the impact itself, which could've been worse than some exposure to smoke at a high speed track like Homestead. We can joke about how shitty the racing is in Trucks, but theres no joking that can be done when we're worried about a drivers life or well being. Nascar needs to get it's shit together for driving standards in the lower series asap before the worst happens.
Doug is right, as a New Yorker staying in Charlotte this weekend, y’all gotta drive faster on 77 some of us aren’t used to having four lanes open where we’re from 😂
1:08:57 how do you submit questions to dbc? I want to ask them if they have any advice for rookie spotters or guys who are nee to spotting, and how they got so good at it
Get Mr. Rice to give some damn tips to Rick Allen and the XFinity reporters. Half the race they were dead silent. There's 36 cars on track- there has got to be something to talk about.
Give reddick credit for a great race winning move, but it doesn’t compare to Chastines last lap at Martinsville to get into the chase.Still great show for the 45.
If you’re outside drinking a beer and a bee comes around and won’t go away…just let it land on the top of your beer to get a taste and it will zoom off and not come back
Is it possible that Denny did not challenge the 45 on the backstretch or turn 3 because he stands to win more money as an owner in a championship then as a driver himself great show gentleman 😎☀️🇺🇸
Tyler made a King move. Ross became God to the point we are no longer allowed to see the Glory of the Hail Melon again. The Hail Melon was the greatest move ever done in Nascar. No one could believe their eyes after the Hail Melon.
Not a severe enough penalty in the truck incident! And this kid is a part time driver with a bad attitude! He needs to go through some anger management and maybe come back in a year or two.
im so sorry for yall dealing with those bees. this a prime example why nascar is getting sued, cant even keep the spotters reasonably accomadated at their nascar owned tracks
I'll wish on a hope and say the #9 will win at Martinsville and Chase will make the Championship Four. That's me holding my right wrist up to keep my watch from drowning as our FanBoat spirals the U-Bend of the Elimination Whirlpool. Beyond that, the best bet Hendricks has to point into the Champ Four without a win now isn't Larson, it's Byron in the 24. Didnt think I'd say that...
Tyler won his two Xfinity championships at homestead ride in the wall. And you know what if he goes to Phoenix and when's the cup championship. He can say he won his cup championship because he rode the wall at Miami again and won the race.
How bout running the Charlotte oval for the season finale. And the shootout needs to go back to Daytona. Start in Daytona and end in Charlotte. Pretty much every team is in NC. Think that would be interesting, final race
Why does a Cup series car have to shift on a mile and a half track? And it's never talked about. I don't think 70% of these Cup drivers could handle 900hp they probably couldn't handle 750. It's sad watching these matchbox cars try to put on a show!
@davidreece5867 if they had 900 horsepower if they had 750 horsepower they wouldn't come out of 5th gear so yes it does have everything to do with horsepower just about anybody can drive these cars 70% of the field is there because they have money to be there
Ok, hypothetical situation. Say Hamlin finds a way to make the final 4. Laps are winding down at Phoenix. Does Denny wreck his own car that he co owns with MJ to win a title ?
Ross Chastain will always hold the greatest move during the payoffs. Ross wasn't Crown the King. Ross became a God; all powerful to a point that everybody including Nascar had to change the rules to stop any future Glory being done in his image. Ryan just screwed up leaving Tyler R. the top lane when he had a run on Ryan and Denny. Ryan and his spotter knew Tyler was faster on the top. If Ryan would of taken Tyler lane instead of staying of the bottom of the track; he would of taken Tyler speed away by blocking him and requiring him to dive down to the bottom of the track. Tyler angle due to Denny being in the way would of reduced his speed and Ryan would of carried speed on the top of the track. I will give Tyler credit for sticking the past and not hitting the wall. We all know that Ryan screwed up. He needed to run Tyler's lane and slow him down. It was the last lap. Ryan and his spotter gave the race up. A block would of won the race. Ryan didn't block. Ryan is now in a win or die situation to make the Championship 4.
Could you guys imagine if the 45 didn't pass tech? The crap nascar would go through if the the 45 failed? There was no chance in nascar failing the 45 unless it was something major major. Nascar gets enough crap from fans now if the 45 didn't pass and got dq'd nascar fans would have rioted saying they only failed him because of the lawsuit.
Best move in history 😂😂😂 this gen nascar can never set any records like that. This show sucks so bad I can’t believe JR keeps yall on. Bunch of Tyler and Bubba’s fan boys.
I'm going to beat this drum: Throughout the race they kept saying non-playoff drivers were showing respect to playoff drivers and didn't want to hurt their race. Yet the weeks before, qll we hear is how the non-playoff drivers get to be spoilers, and are racing for a win just as hard as everyone else. So it brings me back the point, wtf is the point of having non-playoff drivers there??? GTFO!!!! NASCAR logic on this is like having the Carolina Panthers in the playoffs, who somehow win every round and the Super Bowl, but the Chiefs are the champs because they scored the most points in the season. Ugh, wtf is this garbage.
The excuse for Homestead not being the finale is always about people not going to the race...you realize that if it were the FINALE it would sell out right? Or would you try to tell me that a weak ass race in the middle of the SOUTHWEST is capable of selling seats easier than the best possible race at a track in the Southeast..where the sport is from.. Spend the time to update the facilities, sure. But quit saying it's not there because locals don't buy tickets. Locals aren't the ones buying tickets to the championship.

My FedEx truck just broke down and I’m stuck waiting for a tow. Good timing on this episode release
@@timelapsebroheem962 that sucks! Glad we could entertain you!
😆
Nice try Denny
Dear denny..... 😅
Don't leave Denny!!
Love Doug Rice. Always fun to listen to.
Doug rice is the voice of every in track announcer, always done a great job , would love to see Steve post , he’s been around since the 80’s tons of story
Doug Rice is one of those legendary nascar voices
Rice in the house!!!!!!
Hate seeing these iconic voices retire. Doug’s been in the game a long time. You will be missed sir. Thank you for your collection of work
It’s cute how they always refer to themselves as if they were the ones inside the car. These guys are too funny
Wasn't going to listen to the episode because I didn't like the outcome yesterday at Homestead but I'm so glad I did when I saw Doug Rice was on the show!! Great guy and I'm really going to miss hearing him call races
Why Didn't You Like The Outcome
As a new fan this year Doug Rice was a pleasure to listen to on the youtube. Hope he enjoys retirement.
I agree with everything said about Connor Jones. The penalty was no where near severe enough. He at the least should have been parked. Frankly, I think he should be banned. His racing record proves it. Ban him before he seriously injures or kills somebody
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! Freaking awesome!
Doug rice and Barney Hall. The voices of my childhood
Benny Parsons was why Greg Biffle landed at Roush. Doug Rice is hand down is Hall of Fame worthy! Thanks for having him on guys that was great!
1:05:37 one of my favorite reaction theatre songs 😂😂
Doug Rice and Mark Garrow did the commentary on NASCAR 2011, my first NASCAR video game.
Underrated game
Loved seeing Reddick win. Best last lap I have seen in a long time.
No one will ever show the Glory of God again. Ross Chastain became a God. There will be great moves; but Ross became a God. 19:25 full feild run downs where always my favorite on the radio in tractor before i could watch on my phone
Man Doug Rice has such a legendary voice. Great he was on the show
doug was a great guest!!!

I saw that bee video from the spotters stand that was wild. I would have had to find a different spot. 😂
1:08:57 how do you submit questions to dbc? I want to ask them if they have any advice for rookie spotters or guys who are nee to spotting, and how they got so good at it
Matt was released from the hospital today.
Glad to hear
In the nascar video games I've used that chase briscoe line for years
Caleb. What a song.
No DBC on monday, I'll just relisten to last weeks episode
If Doug does not get into hall of fame, that would be criminal
Get Mr. Rice to give some damn tips to Rick Allen and the XFinity reporters. Half the race they were dead silent. There's 36 cars on track- there has got to be something to talk about.
Bees are nice if you're nice
Hornets and Wasps sting you for no reason.
None will sting for no reason.
DOUGGGG LETS GO A TRUE 🐐
Give reddick credit for a great race winning move, but it doesn’t compare to Chastines last lap at Martinsville to

True 😀

Three wide for the win at Homestead that is the most DAMNEDEST thing I've ever seen HOLY SHIT 😮😮😮😮😮😮
Best move in history was Ross Chastain riding the wall but doesn’t take away from the amazing move by Reddick!!
Your crazy no way is he as good as Reddick and Larson
Tyler made a King move. Ross became God to the point we are no longer allowed to see the Glory of the Hail Melon again. The Hail Melon was the greatest move ever done in Nascar. No one could believe their eyes after the Hail Melon.
Not a severe enough penalty in the truck incident! And this kid is a part time driver with a bad attitude! He needs to go through some anger management and maybe come back in a year or two.
How soon everyone forgets Chastain last lap at Martinsville to advance.
Doug Rice Is Awesome
No they had to fix the diffuser flap otherwise he drops like a rock the right rear changer had to go under the car
Yall need a fans perspective to go with the panel. I think that would make a great conversation. Just saying. Great shoe guys...
Justin Marks Closest it guy idol next to Dale Jr.
We need a track in north Mississippi stenhouse’s neighborhood so build a duplicate Miami track
To me almost feels like blaney gave Tyler the top thinking he was gonna send it in there and hit the fence a bit.
I think he was thinking about defending from a slide job
Run the intermediates with the nextgen and all other races with the gen6
im so sorry for yall dealing with those bees. this a prime example why nascar is getting sued, cant even keep the spotters reasonably accomadated at their nascar owned tracks
If it was honey bees, it’s because it’s the swarm season in southern Florida.
I'll wish on a hope and say the #9 will win at Martinsville and Chase will make the Championship Four.

Didnt think I'd say that...
Why would rfk not make that convertible a diecast that we can buy???
How do you call in?
Tyler won his two Xfinity championships at homestead ride in the wall. And you know what if he goes to Phoenix and when's the cup championship. He can say he won his cup championship because he rode the wall at Miami again and won the race.
Best move? Everyone knew where he was running, well maybe Blaney didn't 🙄
YOU GUYS FORGOT ABOUT KYLIE BRYSON 😊😊😊
The fact that Connor Jones has a ride in Chandler Smith will be out of a ride next year is unacceptable.
Hottie with the McDonalds Body!! She nailed it!!! Funny as all get out!!
How bout running the Charlotte oval for the season finale. And the shootout needs to go back to Daytona. Start in Daytona and end in Charlotte. Pretty much every team is in NC. Think that would be interesting, final race
Charlotte is owned by SMI, they’re never going to get the finale again
Why does a Cup series car have to shift on a mile and a half track? And it's never talked about. I don't think 70% of these Cup drivers could handle 900hp they probably couldn't handle 750. It's sad watching these matchbox cars try to put on a show!
It was talked about the first year and a half of the nextgen car. It has nothing to do with the HP. They now have a five speed transmission.
@davidreece5867 if they had 900 horsepower if they had 750 horsepower they wouldn't come out of 5th gear so yes it does have everything to do with horsepower just about anybody can drive these cars 70% of the field is there because they have money to be there
Yes
Alot of the races are better on the radio than TV cause they are painting the picture
the 8% that didn't think that race was great, are Larson fans.
I’m a Larson fan. It was painful to watch but I was a great race.
Ok, hypothetical situation. Say Hamlin finds a way to make the final 4. Laps are winding down at Phoenix. Does Denny wreck his own car that he co owns with MJ to win a title ?
Depends on how you define 'wreck'. Likely won't pull an Austin Dillon but will he do what he did to Larson at pocono? Will be interesting to see
Well if the last few rounds painted a picture larson should dominate Martinsville
Ross Chastain will always hold the greatest move during the payoffs. Ross wasn't Crown the King. We had a superstar. But we ran her off the track and out of the series.
There's gonna be a hail mary alright. Blaney will be leading and someone will wreck him. I count on it these days.
What the hell is wrong with the guy at 1:06:00
Doug rice will forever be the people’s spotter!!
Could you guys imagine if the 45 didn't pass tech? The crap nascar would go through if the the 45 failed? There was no chance in nascar failing the 45 unless it was something major major. Blaney let reddick win
No he didn’t
Listen - To your point - Listen - To your point - Listen - To your point - rinse and repeat over and over and over....
Almost Indefensible???? All the 12 had to do is run the fence in 3 n 4. And he would have defended it.
Reddick had such a run that he would have just turned under Blaney.
@@DaveReece-u4b so then he might get side-by-side with him ready might have had to lift play lady said in his interview he knows he screwed up
Does Casey own the show? Why is she here? Get anybody who can fit in am match the energy of the show
To much is giving to this. No way this is even close of being the best playoff race ever. First off the playoff platform is a joke
I'm going to beat this drum: Throughout the race they kept saying non-playoff drivers were showing respect to playoff drivers and didn't want to hurt their race. With NBC's horrible decision for their lead announcer, it's back to Sirius and the radio call and I enjoy the coverage.
Nope! If Ryan went up to block it would been better.

Have the standards of NASCAR sunken this far? This is not that impressive compared to real racing back in the day.
First as always
Terrible race.
congrats on winning idiot of the week
