At 7:15, 8 d5 doesn't actually win a knight, due to ...Ncd4 (or ...Ned4) attacking white's queen. 7 ...Ne6 is still a bad line for black (well, it's really 6 ...Nc5 that's to blame, as you said), but that's why it's better than 7 ...Na6
