The number one best thing to do in Bakersfield is get the hell out of Bakersfield as soon as possible. It's that bad.
No, because it's so boring, and here I was looking for one decent spot that isn't 10+ miles away. I sure miss the city life of LA where at least I could enjoy trips to the beach and everything fun being less than 15 miles away even.

I’ve lived near Bakersfield my entire life and half the images in this video are definitely not Bakersfield.
Fact and all this just makes me missarable to live somewhere hot, boring, and smelly. I miss living in LA, where the weather is nice, clean, and fun. Unfortunately, most folks end up in bakersfield because of the high costs of living in LA.
As far as I've read/seen CALM has animals that can never be re-released into the world. Their injuries make it so they wouldn't survive on their own.
