I don’t use reversals. I find it visually ugly lol & cluttered and tend to just have a feeling when it’s a “reverse meaning”

I don’t read reversals, but I used to when I first started reading tarot, just to kind of better understand the scope of the card (if that makes sense). At a certain point I stopped, because the way I approached tarot shifted (passive vs active principles). I read jumpers, though, and if a card flies out reversed, I go with it.

Love this! I don’t normally read with reversals. I am careful when I shuffle so when they pop up I know it’s important.

Def reversals context of question... maybe they king for an example to looking to the left or right to another card for extra emphasis

“Not sponsored, just obsessed” is a great tshirt! 😂 As for reversals I don’t use them, for me the function of the card depends on the cards around it. (And the question when there is one).

Omg I’m 100% going to look for One With The Shadows. I hope it’s on Kindle.

I wish reversals were always included so that people who use them have that option! People who don’t want to use them, can just ignore and not use the reversals.

What a wonderful video. So much fun to watch and listen to. I love your commentary and it's like having a discussion with a friend. Well done. The only thing I wish that was included is a list of the tarot decks in your video description. I didn't always hear what the name of some of the decks were so I had to replay many times in some areas. I don't even need links of where to buy each one, just the name would be fine. Thanks again! I'll look at more of your videos.

Aha! That's so funny. Emberwood Apothecary has been one of my favorite candle makers. I've tried most of her scents at this point and just got Hermit recently. Only thing is I trim the wicks down a bit more before first burn if they're long -just cuz otherwise it's a bit much flame wise, but then they burn so beautifully and she has a lot of great scents. Luna Chai is another fav for cozy vibes.
Loved hearing about all these decks. Compendium of Witch's is on my list for the next Llewellyn sale and I just ordered Lost Oracle. Loved hearing how you've been working with CoW. Lost oracle does look great with Ophidia. I'm thinking I'll pair it with Hush. Will see. Was fun to hang with ya thank you for sharing!

Ooooh thanks for the tip! Yes they just smell so scrumptious! I'll definitely take your advice and pick up the Luna Chai next time!

Wonderful video, many thanks. I don't use reversals since I feel that the tarot has enough information with them and I rely on my intuition, perception and insights instead. Re Hebrew (my mother tongues), the alphabet has only 22 letters, no consonants. With love and appreciation, Zohar.

Hi sweet one, I really appreciate you talking about letting tarot unfolding itself in its own time and to take boundaries with yourself in all you see on the internet. To go slow and not get too lost in all the different systems and decks which is definitely a rabbit 🕳️🐇 I already jumped into🙈 Thank you for your clear view and words on this🙏

I always use reversals with tarot, the cards just feel so different for me reversed. Mostly because the imagery in the card coveys a different story for me reversed. Even pips feel different for me that way. But I kind of hate it because it opens up too many meanings and then my readings get complicated and long ; )

I am reading a fictional book which I am not really into fantasy/fiction books. But I have been reading The Crimson Crown by Heather Walter. It is actually a good book. Witchy/ fantasy. I love it. It may be like the Gathering. I may get that one after I read this one. 😂

also how is it going with the dark reflections tarot which had illustrated reversed meanings for all cards? id love to try it!

Oh it's good! I will say it's not the first one I think to pick up often, because of the shadowy nature of it, but if there's somthing in darkness that I know I need to investigate it's absolutely perfect for it! I need to make a few official spreads that I specifically use with it. xx

Such a glorious wander through your recent practice and joys. Answering your Q I don't commonly use reversals, at least in the traditional way. The caveats being, there are other ways I encompass the concepts of blocks, challenges, polarity and such in each card, and there's several decks, inc some oracles, which I do use reversals for just them, because it makes sense and seems to benefit from it.

Oy! I don't work with fallen angels at all. But I had a thought. Even though you said these angels were destroyed, their progeny (because they coupled with humans) might live on still. I always thought I was in that bloodline, so maybe I have to relinquish my antipathy for fallen angels. They could be my distant ancestors, LOL.

i feel pretty close to the same as you regarding reversals. some decks feel like they want me to use them, but id say most don’t. even when i dont use reversals, i tend to consider reversed associations within the context of a reading if i feel it applies. its just easier for me when the images are not reversed to feel the energy of the reading. at the same time, following that logic, a reversed card definitely feel like a block (the energy doesnt flow). also one thing to reflect upon is that the 78 arcana contain a balance of more "difficult" and more "positive" messages already... if a card comes up reversed unexpectedly in a deck that shouldnt contain reversals, i will 100% consider the reversed meaning! i wish my opinion was more clear-clut than it is regarding reversals and apply the same rule to all my decks :’)

Holy Light is so intimidating. I had it and it mocked me from the bookcase. I had to re-home it. It was just too mean to me. Whenever I see it I think I should get it again. The art in the Rosetta is a little primitive for me. I’m funny about faces. But Tabula Muni and 777 are the chef’s kiss.

I have a journal-like book of Durrell’s from 1945. Beautiful descriptions; very smug world view. Maybe a degree of pretentiousness or self confidence is necessary in order to be any sort of artist, I think. Embracing all the stuff that other people think is ‘too much.’ Durrell might take himself a bit too seriously though 😂
