I would have thought from your description that it was an absolute nightmare. It looks like an average, standard bathroom, minus the usual clutter most people seem to want. It’s clean, light and minimal. I love it.
I'm in a housing association flat in north Manchester. I've lived here 18 years and my bathroom is now 25 years old. Yours is much nicer than mine. Nothing has been upgraded and replaced in my bathroom, except the toilet cistern which stopped working about ten years ago. I love your crisp white tiles. I don't even have a window in my bathroom. The only suggestion I would make is maybe try to put your window sill items on a small tray of some sort to coral them all together. For a busy mum with a little child, I think you are doing amazing!
@extrememinimalism Every time 💪 Us UK YT minimalists gotta stick together ❤️ We're showing that not all minimalist homes are owned or perfectly decorated etc. It's a lifestyle not just an aesthetic and I love watching your videos x
Did you tried using just the conditioner? It has some cleaning properties too. I used my little ones toothpaste when we were in vacation. Maybe you could find a kids toothpaste that is not so sweet, and you could share it that way to not have two of it. I really like how simple your bathroom is!
I would use the kids toothpaste if my teeth weren't in bad shape. I will use his or vice versa on overnights or holidays, but daily basis I won't. I'm too precious about making sure he doesn't have bad teeth like mine.
It is... but then this week my sister gave me 2 shower gels and today, my mum gave me 3 hand creams. Luckily I do use both very quickly as I give myself daily massages and shower 4-5 days a week. 🤣🥺
Update: I decluttered 8 things since I made this video... including 4 things that are inside the black container. Toe separators as I wasn't using them, 2 ear tools, a bulky hair band, hand wash [shower gels have the same ingredients] and I swapped the coconut oil, the duplicate toothbrushes and toothpaste. Also, 8 things in this video are used by my toddler son, the rest is mine. I think I am down to 25 things completely for the bathroom, including towels, the shower curtain and cleaning things.
I guess it’s cool if this is what you prefer. I don’t think in the grand scheme of things it’s going to matter but hey, what do I know. I’ve done away with using throwaway plastics and I compost, collect rainwater for my plants and stuff and that makes me feel a little bit better. Then you see what China and India are throwing in the ocean, the mounds of clothing discarded from fast fashion and I get discouraged. Edit: More sad than discouraged I guess.
Its what a bathroom should be. Clean shiny and bright. Very nice.
Easier to clean now thats for sure!
That is not a bathroom to be ashamed of! It is totally fine.
Awe thanks 🤗

I love the simplicity of your bathroom. ❤
Thank you! 😊
Thanks for showing us around 🙂 Don't be ashamed! You are keeping it real 💪
Youve got my back 💪

Thank you for sharing a realistic bathroom :) ♥ Nothing to be ashamed of!
Don’t be in such a rush for your toddlers things to be gone. They grow up very fast! One day you’ll think back and wish they were still there ❤
It's clean and not cluttered. It's fine!
I think it´s great, it´s everything you need. From your warnings I would have thought it would be way worse.
Lol, I think I'm too used to seeing either IG bathrooms or people with cleaners etc.
@@extrememinimalistparent It´s so easy to compare ourselves with others. But I prefer real. 😃
I like your bathroom. It's what you need, which is great. Honestly, our bathroom is bigger, but it doesn't need to be , you know.
Ps.. I've had a lot worse in $300 a week homes. And they were awful!

Your bathroom is way nicer than my $350/wk rental in Australia!
It must be such a relief to have so few items

Lol if you want to get rid of the training potty seat, do it, my son caught on quick using the regular toilet!!

I'm confused?
I own my home in the US and most of your bathroom is in better condition than my main bathroom.
It doesn't look finished. And it should be, considering someone came in to fix it.
What’s in the black folder?
all the annoying lil things like tweezers, hair comb, mirror, nail file, hair pins and hair bands.
I think it's very important to keep your handwash, and it looks like a nice smelling one, but maybe you'd prefer keeping it in a plain bottle?
Done the whole plain bottle thing, still don't like having it. 🤣
There's nothing wrong with that bathroom!
