I love the simplicity of the rules but the complexity of the decisions in the game. I will say for anyone getting the deluxe/super deluxe edition of the game. They used a very light plastic for the components and the player boards. I was a bit disappointed with the quality it felt a bit cheap for how much the game costs. The player shields are obnoxious to setup and feel very low budget I wish they had a better solution. I highly suggest putting a few drops of glue on the objective card shield, it constantly gets moved around as people scout cards. Why this wasn't done in production is beyond me. Overall, I would say Fractured Sky is a fantastic game where the only downside felt like you were getting flimsy/cheap components for the price point. Metal Starfalls look fantastic if you decide to upgrade to them. Keep those things in mind when backing the game, so you know what you are getting and it isn't a surprise when you open it up and play with it.
Thanks! Revealing a card is only in the 1 or 2 player when you're playing with the AI. When you have all human players the cards stay concealed until the end of the round.

I got the Super Deluxe version of this game and I'm NOT disappointed! Also, to your comment on your kids destroying you, my 10 y/o son and I broke in the game and I thought I would be sneaky and build up my market empire and gain so many resources to win the final 2 rounds.... needless to say he beat me by 3 points! He sat there with a HUGE grin on his face. We have been loving what IV Studios have been putting out with their games. I don't think there is ONE strategy that works with this game. its really fun!
i mistakenly bought the non deluxe version and i want to know if its still good without the minis and magnetized player boards

Lovely Setup and review! Doesn’t the card get revealed if both resources get picked up when scouting? Or am I playing it wrong?
