Such a great, honest review of this one Mark. I was really on the fence with this one, but based on yours and Luke Hectars review, I’m possibly going to pass, purely based on the cost as I would probably be going for the super deluxe version and it sounds like it may be a pass. Thanks mate 🤓👍🏻
Finally got it to the table yesterday, a big hit with the family and they demanded it go on the keep list. Was considering selling due to the high prices it's selling for at the moment. The teach was pretty simple and after the first 2 rounds everyone had grasped the game and started to see the deeper tactical side culminating in a very tactical final round that saw my daughter take 5 of the 6 available starfalls and stealing the game from my Wife who started the final round 2 starfalls ahead of the rest of us. Great game.
I just really heavily dislike the art in this game. It was the prime reason why I didn’t back it. It looks like a big nothingburger, almost AI generated?
