400 seconds for two hot tungsten ingots might seem like a lot, but consider that smelting pure tungsten dust into a hot ingot takes 500 seconds (unless you've got Xenon or Oganesson, though even in the latter case that's still slower per ingot than the trioxide+carbon dust recipe), and it's actually a very fast recipe...relatively 🙃. If you're having issues with these EBF smelting recipes taking too long you need to expand your EBF smelting capacity. Three's two individual EBFs for general smelting post-Moon is honestly weak if not anaemic in that regard, at this point I would expect either two dual EBFs or a quad EBF for general smelting, one dedicated individual EBF for rutile, and possibly a sixth individual EBF for odd fluid/circuit recipes which will be the first to receive upgraded coils and be put to work processing those higher tier coil recipes until enough upgraded coils have been produced to upgrade the duals/quad as well. Remember, in GTNH getting the ores to process is just half of the work at best. Processing them is another step that's not to be underestimated. You know Three, you can use an assembling machine to craft those pumps without the GT tools. Only takes one second, and don't forget the old advice of "if you need four, craft a stack, because you will need them" 🙃. For regular GT materials you will eventually need an HV fluid extractor, but not until the likes of Fluxed Electrum, Black Plutonium, and Ichorium. GT++ materials, in contrast, are just all over the place with what tier of machine they need, because they're demanding little princesses like that. Leading to situations like the electric tool version of a flint and steel needing a material that you can acquire as early as HV, but requires a ZPM ABD/fluid solidifier to actually turn the dust into plates. So, for the record: An HV single block miner has a mining *area* of 49x49, mines up large ores as-is, and a small ore fortune bonus of 3. The T1 Multiblock Miner has a mining *radius* of 48, so a mining area of 96x96, has an effective fortune bonus of *11* on large ores (at the cost of not being able to get the byproduct from macerating the ore block in an HV+ macerator, but than you also don't spend the time/power on macerating it either), and a fortune bonus of 4 on small ores. It does require a lot of drilling fluid to run and produces *tons* more items compared to single block miners (so storage is an issue if you're not able to just automatically send all of that ore back home to automated ore processing immediately, like you can and perhaps should set up pre-Moon🙃), but rest assured they are so, so worth it. Another quirk of MBMs is that (last I tested) they only require ~0.5A to run, so you could run an HV MBM off of 2A MV. However keep in mind that multiblocks can have maintenance issues, and that will increase their power cost by 10% per issue (until a machine hits all six, at which point it'll shut down entirely). If you supply an HV MBM 1A HV it will not shut down due to maintenance until it hits all six maintenance issues, because 2A MV * 1.5 = 3A MV, which is still less than the 1A HV you're giving it. And barring curses that would require a consultation with your nearest Voodoo mage a MBM won't get six maintenance issues before it finishes mining, at which point whatever issues it did get are no longer relevant. So keep that in mind if you want to be stingy with power. Don't underestimate the amount of compressed chests you need to store all of the ores even a T1 MBM can pull up. Obviously it's highly variable, an MBM mining through four Nether Redstone veins is going to collect *loads* more stuff than a miner on something like overworld Magnetite, but even so I highly recommend bringing dedicated drawers for stone dust and impure stone dust (whichever form you're going to get in the dimension you're mining in - regular stone dust for Overworld/Twilight, Netherrack dust for the Nether, Red Granite dust for Mars, etc.) and somewhere between 8-16 compressed chests to hold the rest. 16 is definitely "T1 or even T2 MBM mining out multiple nether redstone veins" territory, but still, remember that MBMs are not GT++ multis. If they don't have space out output their ores they will happily continue mining and void whatever they're picking up, and obviously that's not what you want. Something else you don't want is miners not mining for lack of space to output, so although you should still use an item detector cover to shut off the miner if it's output bus is full (since stopping mining is the lesser evil than voiding everything) it's best to just give miners enough space to output their stuff in the first place. The dedicated drawer for stone dust/impure stone dust helps a lot with that, since it'll save you many slots of compressed chest space and there's no dimension (that I know of) where some form of stone dust isn't going to be pulled up. One piece of the T2 rocket checklist I suspect Three forgot: I have heard about people having issues with the T2 lander glitching out and players not being able to retrieve their rocket and launch pad from them. I've never encountered it myself, and for that matter I don't know if it's been fixed since, but in any case I'd recommend brining a hopper along in case the bug does happen. Apparently if you place a hopper below the lander it'll output the rocket and launch pad, so you can retrieve them that way. For galacticraft machines: Green dot is input, red dot is output. Blue circle means oxygen, black square means power. Galacticraft machines will accept power both in the form of EU or RF, though their tooltip and GUI will report EU rather than RF. Also keep in mind that the tooltips of galacticraft machines report their power cost in EU/second, not in EU/tick. So they don't require nearly as much power as a glance at their tooltip would make you believe. Unlike their draconic counterparts (in this version) Creeper Eggs are broken by way of dropping them onto a torch. But yes, they can indeed be used to generate power: Magic Energy Absorbers are able to generate 1A HV passively using one of those Creeper Eggs on top. Their tooltip specifically says "Dragon Egg", but Creeper Eggs also work, they just produce HV instead of a Dragon Egg's EV. "But what's the use of passive HV power in EV going into IV, since Master Magic Energy Absorbers require Tungstensteel?" you ask? Consider how much of Three's base currently runs off of HV generators, and will continue to do so even in IV proper. The Benzene setup alone has at least *20* HV gas turbines you could replace with Creeper Egg MMEAs, saving you that much more power in producing Benzene (and other fluids) that you can use for power/to produce stuff down the line. AE2, once that is set up and running, is going to constantly drain a non-trivial amount of power - especially if you want to have any degree of wireless access or especially quantum tunnels - and will be an *exceptionally* vulnerable part of the base in case Three experiences a brownout or, heavens forbid, a full-on blackout. But if AE2 is powered entirely by Creeper Eggs Three could build a sizeable network, complete with comprehensive wireless connection coverage and even a few quantum tunnels, and *still* never have to worry about losing access to his AE2 network. Machines that require power remotely, like the miners, will also benefit from Creeper Egg power since it means Three can overclock his MBMs to EV without any worries (not that he doesn't have enough Benzene to measure his stock in Olympic swimming pools at the moment, but between higher tier machines/ore processing/passive AE2 drain/etc. power will become more scarce soon enough). Desh is the vein you want if you want Desh. If you want Tungstate/Scheelite you want the dedicated Tungstate vein. It contains far, far more Scheelite (and possibly Tungstate for that matter) than there is in a Desh vein. You do need actual Desh for a few things, though. If only the next tier of rocket...not that Three is going to be building that any time soon 🙃. The random vanilla MC torch is a result of a particular type of skeleton shooting torch "arrows". It's a quirk that this doesn't check for whether the torch is in a dimension where it shouldn't be able to function as a vanilla torch, but the player can actually do the same by placing torches with their TiC tool rather than their hand. Two compressed chests and a trash can for a T1 MBM. It has been a hot minute since I tested MBM outputs and I do tend to err on the side of overkill in those tests, but still. You need to expand the compressed chest budget if you're going to continue mining like that 🙃.
Even regular GT materials now have a tier requirement, for some of the higher tier ones You do get the byproducts from a Multiblock miner mining regular ores just like a HV+ macerator The lander bug was fixed
@@Royal_4096 I didn't see regular GT materials requiring more than HV in 2.2.3, but than given there's over like 12K fluid extractor recipes I can easily believe I missed them. Getting byproducts from MBM large ores I don't recall noticing during testing, though perhaps I simply got bad luck and/or ended up mistaking the crushed+byproducts for small ores, or something. I'll have to make a note to set up a more robust test for that. Lander bug being fixed is good to know, even if pulling a hopper out of thin air isn't something I'd like to see considered a problem on Mars these days 🙃.
Great series to watch, I continue to look forward to each episode! With the spectre key, you no longer have to worry much about inventory management, especially related to off-world collection. Just store any number of chests inside the pocket dimension and you dont have to fit anything into your inventory/rocket.

Slimelings are automatically tamed when you hatch it, feeding them makes them bigger. To have one on earth, you need to bring an egg back and hatch it there
Great episode! I don't know if it is an option in GT:NH, but in Galacticraft in 1.12 there is an upgrade that will swap out empty oxygen tanks for full ones that are in your inventory. If you have some kind of block that can interface with your player inventory, you can extract empty oxygen tanks, refill them, and re-insert them back into your inventory -- effectively giving you infinite oxygen anywhere.
the world accelerators will also be really usefull once you start feeding nodes to each other. But make sure that both the node making the eating and the ones getting eaten are accelerated.

There's a better vein for uranium (and why you want to mine Uranium right now) on Deimos and Phobos, Mars' two moons IIRC, but the Pitchblende and Uraninite you can find on Mars can get the job done. For the record those two ores, as well as more efficient Uranium 238 ore on Deimos/Phobos, you want because it's a source of Radium 226, and that in turn is your first source of Radon, which is required to advance into EV and eventually IV. There is a better method of obtaining Radon in an LCR that Three is undoubtedly going to switch to ASAP, but that requires Plutonium 239, which is either gotten from centrifuging ~4800 Phobos Stone Dust for ~4.5 hours at HV (if this sounds familiar, yes, this is basically the T2 equivalent of Moon Rock Dust and Tungstate, only you thankfully don't need as much plutonium from it as you did tungstate from moon rock dust) or running 72 uranium fuel rods through an IC2 reactor and thermally centrifuging the depleted rods. Given limitations in reactor designs that will necessitate at least two full runs of a reactor using Uranium fuel rods, or ~11 hours of running a reactor, but the difference there is that a reactor will *produce* power during that entire time, whereas macerating rocks and centrifuging them *consumes* power and machine processing capacity. Again, not that Three can't measure his Benzene in Olympic swimming pools right about now, but if he were short on fuel to run EV powered EBFs consistently a reactor putting out, say, 4000 EU/t would do *an awful lot* to alleviate that problem. Still might when Three inevitably has to overclock his EBFs to IV, in fact. Even 4K EU/t isn't even half an IV amp, true, but that plus a beefy battery buffer can definitely make some magic happen if you really need it to. I've certainly ran an IV EBF off of a battery buffer powered by a far, *far* less impressive setup before at any rate 🙃. Inventory space issues when you're on Mars. The man is so blinded by the promises of AE2 he completely missed me repeatedly yelling about pre-moon discount wireless AE2 terminals and automatic sending of whitelisted items to a centralized storage interdimensionally, as well as the fact that he's unlocked AE2 already 🙃. Admittedly it is certainly a reasonable idea to put off setting up AE2 until after you've gotten a T2 rocket, mind. You saw how many hours of processing is in Three's very near future at this point, and it's not just something to set up now because it needs to get done eventually either. Radon is needed to unlock the next tier of Circuit Assembling Machine, and with it both 16/64K ME Storage Components as well as the next grade (and tier) of circuits. I trust I don't need to explain why being able to craft HV circuits directly, and cheaply, is a good thing. To say nothing of what options having access to LuV tier circuits is going to open up. Those of you who are wondering if the Spectre Dimensions would also be the perfect place to set up an AE2 Quantum Ring to have your main AE2 system be accessible from any dimension without an Infinity Booster Card (which, eh...Three may never get. It requires a DTPF as far as a quick glance at recipes tells me 🙃), you are absolutely correct. Quantum Rings aren't even that expensive to craft, though you do need an EV Circuit Assembling Machine for the 64K storage component to get Singularities in a Matter Condenser, meaning you will need Radon. The real problem is that they are expensive in terms of power - each quantum ring will run you 990 EU/t passively, so almost 1A EV per pair of rings. Which might not sound like much right now, Three is swimming in Benzene after all, but a bit of tech progression and setting up an ore processing system is going to eat into that power production *worryingly* quickly. The Benzene setup is definitely something that can carry you all the way to IV, but at that point the benzene train is going to reach it's station unless you move on past the schematica designs and upgrade/expand upon the setup even further. The power draw of WAs actually depends on whether they have to run in Tile Entity mode or not. For most applications - IC2 crops, bees, Alchemical Furnace, etc. - they do, meaning they'll consume 6A of their tier in order to run. However there are some cases - chiefly the various Thaumic Bases crops, Sweeds and Redlon and the like - where the WAs can run in Blocks mode. In that mode it only consumes 3A, so you could power an MV WA off of 1A HV. Why, yes, this is indeed another possible use case for Creeper Eggs if you want to speed up a Thaumic Bases farm of some sort. Those eagle-eyed enough to notice the questbook page for purple rocket fuel mentioning it's for a T5 rocket, congratulations on paying more attention to text than Three did 🙃. The T3/4 rocket fuel is Dense Hydrazine Fuel Mixture, though it's still a mildly depressing recipe to look at in NEI all the same. Only mildly, though. Oriharukon is actually no longer the king of turbine rotors that it once was. It's still an exceptionally good rotor material, mind you, but the cost of producing the stuff is just prohibitive. The new king is town (albeit competing fiercely with HSS-S for that spot) is HSS-E, boating equal throughput and durability as Oriharukon, but higher fuel efficiency and *significantly* cheaper production cost. HSS-S, for the record, likewise has equal durability but slightly higher fuel efficiency than HSS-E, although as the cost of the Osmium required to mix HSS-S dust (and the possible opportunity cost of spending that HSS-S elsewhere, like a high voltage power spine). Alternatively, if you're magic inclined and have good mental fortitude against exceptionally silly recipes, Terrasteel rotors are actually equivalent to Oriharukon in all stats...albeit costing exceptionally hefty amounts of mana (and some largely irrelevant materials) to produce terrasteel, instead of having to spend the likes of Tungstensteel and large amounts of EU on EBF processing. For the record you can centrifuge stone dust to get materials out of it, but this is even more of a terrible recipe than Moon Rock Dust was. Keep whatever stone dust you need to produce drilling fluid, concrete, stone plates, and whatever other uses you have for it, and just trash the rest. It's not worth processing it even remotely. Remember that you can craft higher tier soddlering irons than just the LV one that has ten uses worth of battery charge. An HV tier one has 160 uses worth of battery charge, for instance. Alternative you can invest in a stockpile of Duct Tape to fix maintenance issues as well. It will give the maintenance bus that ugly duct tape texture, but it's not like you're going to be looking at that often let stand long term, in the case of multiblock miners. As far as my understanding of MBMs go it will first mine out the chunk that it's in, and from there mine out the rest of it's area chunk by chunk, top to bottom. It's very visible if you use MBMs to mine up BM ore meteors, in fact. The detail about MBMs only needing the actual multiblock chunkloaded is also correct, they will load and unload whichever chunk they're currently mining it themselves automatically. Yes, much like torch arrows there are also skeletons that shoot fire arrows. I'd suggest not letting them anywhere near your machines if you don't want to risk turning part of your factory into a crater, but if that wasn't standard policy because of creepers to begin with I frankly don't know what to tell you 🙃. Remember that galacticraft suffocation damage isn't the same as drowning damage. If you run out of oxygen you can say goodbye to an entire row of hearts every damage tick, so even with a respectable amount of hearts you'll be reduced to a pile of broken dreams if you don't have a spare oxygen tank ready (and the reflexes to use it in time). That said Desh has opened up the next tier of oxygen tank, and with a bit of luck with IV tier lootbags (remember to save all of your EV bags to convert into IV bags, by the way) you can even get the next tier of oxygen tank after that before getting a T3 rocket. So oxygen supply will be much less of a concern by the time the next rocket launches...though I trust you all know what happens when something becomes much *less* of a problem, but still remains a potential problem, and complacency sets in...🙃.
@@Royal_4096 Must have missed that recipe. Still, not in the near enough future to make a Quantum Ring in the Spectre Dimension not worthwhile, methinks 🙃.
It’s 2 buckets per operation for the drilling plant You don’t pick up creeper eggs, just dragon eggs That bug with the lander was fixed so no longer an issue
Absolutely! It's going to be necessary at some point. With the way that ores are setup though, there is not a one size fits all solution and many resources such as Platinum or Monazite require dedicated processing lines to get the most from them. I'm looking forward to designing it all with some of the new tools we have in the latest versions :)
Not sure how it works in gregtech, but in the base random things mod, you can increase the height of the spectre dimension chunk by right clicking the floor at the centre of the chunk with ectoplasm.

When I saw one of your videos the first time, it was dj2, I just assumed you had like 500k+ subs and when I looked I was more shook than the tps on your dj2 server after starting lightning craft!
Massive respect and props to you!
i love the addition of the recap section in the beginning of the episode!
I loved the last episode recap at the beggining of the video! I can't watch every episode so it was super dope to have a small recap of what happened! Thanks :)
You can get the creeper eggs by mining under it and letting it fall on a torch, same as a dragon egg!
Love the commitment you always give us. Thanks Three, your content never ceases to brighten my day!
i'm so glad you played a sample pf Strad when u mentioned it
Three please show us your time played from time to time so people could know how much time you spend between the work
Top tier editing and content as usual! Definitely my favorite series I'm watching at the moment!
Nice caught this as soon as it came up
Slimelings are automatically tamed when you hatch it, feeding them makes them bigger. To have one on earth, you need to bring an egg back and hatch it there
I also enjoy your selection of music even though im not much of a vocals guy myself
Thaumcraft describes me when starting GTNH perfectly: 27:43
Benefits of staying up past 3 in the morning I suppose. Thanks for the video gamer
Can’t wait to see next episode. A2 is gonna be a blast
The creeper eggs follow dragon egg behavior for picking them up, but I forget if it's vanilla or Hardcore Ender Expansion style.
Or using empowering bees
@@Royal_4096 not familiar with those. But whatever tick acceleration for tile entities will do. The important part is to accelerate both nodes.
Lets go! Another great video. Also, love that you do TH-cam shorts now. Looking good❤
You can also use the spectre key to bring even more stuff back from other planets
3:39 if the radius is 48, then it's 6×6 or 7×7, depending on how you count it, nevertheless it's even better
It's a 97x97 square around the centre of the multiblock, yeah.
Never clicked a video this fast! Thanks three!
I like how Three is reluctantly accepting the greg memes.
i like how much effort you put in a video editing like sync the song beat with the block place
Awesome episode!
I seriously want to play this pack! But with my life schedule, I probably have around 2h to play, which make it impossible to. So enjoy your content is very satisfying for me. Thank you! 🙏
There is no time limit on beating gtnh
If you only have 2h it just takes longer
:O Outro music is not "Nothing for Me" xD
Regardless, very inspiring editing for the rocket launches! And that creature is very interesting... mmm delicious doors
Thanks you for doing this for us
20s ago, godlike timming. Thanks for the episode Three!
That's a 48 block radius, not diameter, so the drill will actually cover a 6x6 chunk area assuming it mines a square area
Such a good quality of videos! Keep it going three!
Infinity booster is way before the plasma forge, just gated by T8 rocket/meteors
@@Royal_4096 Must have missed that recipe. Still, not in the near enough future to make a Quantum Ring in the Spectre Dimension not worthwhile, methinks 🙃.
Every time I see a gtnh upload I stop what I'm doing, three you're goated
16:50 that creature got fried
3 am my time. new threefold ep. heck yeah
Loved the episode!!!
Awesome! Glad to hear it Conrad!
thought we might got the episode yesterday and instead got it early today
Probably the only creator that i enjoy watching 30+ min episodes from
Thank you! I appreciate the fact that you take time from your day to follow us through New Horizons! :D
@Threefold I look forward to these episodes as much as my weekly anime episodes, best part of my day :)
such a great series
It’s 2 buckets per operation for the drilling plant
You don’t pick up creeper eggs, just dragon eggs
That bug with the lander was fixed so no longer an issue
Ah, Good to know! Thank you King :D
Loving the new season so far so much more organization
I clicked almost like a reflex xD
As someone who has never played GTNH, it really seems you would benefit from a large scale universal ore processing system
Absolutely! It's going to be necessary at some point. With the way that ores are setup though, there is not a one size fits all solution and many resources such as Platinum or Monazite require dedicated processing lines to get the most from them. I'm looking forward to designing it all with some of the new tools we have in the latest versions :)
Threefold channel is so good that i never saw a bot in here
Yeahhh just in time for my Sunday breakfast
Not sure how it works in gregtech, but in the base random things mod, you can increase the height of the spectre dimension chunk by right clicking the floor at the centre of the chunk with ectoplasm.
Another Great Episode to show how far one man can make it in GT:NH
God Speed Threefold
also one other thing, You are 100% the best Modded Minecraft TH-camr
Also everyone in this comment Section, Can we take a moment to think How much time Threefold has spent playing Minecraft Mods in General, Most of it would be GT:NH, Right?
Loved the video. Keep up the work!
I'm glad I'm caught up again. Is the Uranoum going to be used for centralized power?
I have watched 7 of the GTNH videos today to try and catch up lol
amazing video!
finally lol I've been waiting for mars
man every time i see an episode i think it’s a new one for a second, then my heart goes back to being broken, hope threes doing well
Lol, I'm accidently watching this a second time, honestly, I don't care, it's so good!
Three, where was our reminder that redstone on = machine on when you set up the ore drilling machine I was waiting for it and you didn’t say it 😢
new gtnh episode, life good
You can grab the creeper eggs with a torch like vanilla dragon eggs
Picking up an egg? Perhaps use torch/piston or smht like that
You should make a series on the all the mods 8 mod packs it’s really fun
I knew I didn't stay up late for nothing
Wait, when did he automate drilling fluid? I'm pretty sure that wasn't actually in the last episode.
Where do you find the song for your timelapses they are all so good
I am in shock how frequent his uploads are
Early morning notification woot
Threelon Musk!
Wait no Elon sucks I don't wanna put Three on the same vein as Elon.
I just started playing GT:NH myself, and I was wondering how you got all the quests to display at once, even when you don't have all of their prerequisites. For me, each quest only appears in the book once its prerequisites are completed.
There is an option you can toggle in the column to the left of the quest chart.
Don’t play in curesforge, it’s not updated and the newer versions show all the quests and are up to date
umm I noticed on the tooltip that the creeper eggs have hardness -1 and blast resistant 0, so I imagine that tnt can break them…
in the specter room, can you store compressed chests full of items mined at the planets? instead of carrying those around too.
i think you're supposed to blow up the creeper eggs
Threefold the British is going to invade other places!
Very cool thanks 🏆🙂🙏🏼
I have a question
who would win in a fight
Threefold with prep time or batman with prep time
Weird that you're not looking into logistics pipes. It would be perfect for this kind of stuff.
I have an idea for the rocket landing, use F3 when your landing on a planet to lift off in the same place l
oooo mars
I know you went to mars, stop teasing! xD
wait when did you get a multiblock sifter?
Will you work with Bees in the future of the season ?
14:32 Am i going crazy or does it sound a bit like deshtiantion?
Yeah I listened back a few times, it definitely sounds like it hehe :D
@@Threefold. now was it intentional or not because if so this would have been a nice easter egg (cause you have been talking a lot about Desh)
ut says radius of 48 blocks, not diametre. So i assume its actually 3 chunks in each direction ie 6x6
Now build a giant domed city on Mars! Shouldn’t take you more than 200 sealers for a 120 block diameter dome =P
Very cool
I have a question how much actual time do you spend per day actual time like not time spent afk because I feel like you dedicate aloot of your time to this wich I very much appreciate but please don't burn out take breaks
This is just a comment to boost the video in the algorithm.
would you ever please play the dimension hopper: the fall
THREEFOLD DIDNT TAKE THE LEAN FROM MARS 😔😔😔
Are you planning to make centralized power production?
Yeah! Once we get the Multiblock turbines and are capable of generating a high enough voltage of power to not have too much loss from cables :D
I am the first person to watch the video that I am watching right now at this moment
Tldr: first
Best channel on youtube????? Like the comment if you agree.
get them same way as dragon egg whit a torch but i am not sure
Can you and Lash please complete a pack together?
TH-cam ALGORITHM !!!
