If the object is far , focal length increases
If the object is near , focal length decreases

Assertion (A)- Hypermetropia is the defect of the eye in which only father objects are seen.
reason(R)- Hypermetropia is corrected by using converging lens
sir this was in my midterms aur mai option (B) karke aayi thi but m'am cut my marks saying that its (A). how's it possible?🥲🤧

Both A and R are true but reason is not correct Explanation of Assertion.
Explanation: it's TRUE in case of hypermetropia we can't see farther object..and it is also true that it is rectified by converging lens .. but the Reason is not Explaining Assertion by anyway..
So option B is correct
