For this week's video we have a van life - day in the life - driving day edition. We share how we get our old van Ody ready for a long day on the road and share many moments along the way. The thing about living in a van is that your home has to be prepared to be constantly shaking and moving about, so it is crucial that all of your possessions can handle the extra stress. We start the video in Greece and end up going through multiple countries! Hope you enjoy this one as it was really fun to capture :)

I think its good for both us and you to have resting happy face. I hope your eBook does well. And it sounds like driving is really becoming an effort and vehicles really should not consume oil or produce so much heat that it burns your feet. Maybe you need to start looking for a new van and while you are at it look for something with AC you don't have to run it all the time but off and on while driving, every evening to prepare for sleep, and if you find yourself in a medical heat emergency you can get cooled down. It seems a difference between quirky old school and sensible and safe. I know its sentimental to you but living in a van you really want it to be reliable. If you are starting to have issues, you need time to fundraise, find, convert it. Maybe you are always looking. Even so your positive attitudes are fun and refreshing! No red bull!!!! If you are coffee drinkers try cold brew iced or chilled coffee.. Just regular coffee from the supermarket will brew without adding heat. Set it up the night before, just shake it in a mason jar and refrigerate it! Then filter it off with a strainer in the morning and add your fav goodies
I have watched off and on for a year or so and now I'm following as you post! One of these days I need to binge the past videos. I was very very impressed, moved even! by your video when you fasted ten days and Dana took care of everything so you could rest your back. Its important to carry each other in a marriage. Give and take help as needed. You make a great pair. I also like how you just offer each other common courtesy. Thanks for driving. Thanks for dinner. I remember one video not long ago, your checklist day. Dana said "wanna work out?" Like..totally a choice. Sounds silly describing it, by I remember thinking they are figuring it out together and she's not trying to oversell it or make him do anything. Anyways...we are watching these things and proud of you as a couple.

Ordered the combo! You two changed my life and it is the least I can do to support your efforts. A few months ago I watched a video of yours about practicing gratitude every morning. I started thinking of three things I'm grateful for before I get out of bed every day. That led me to being a happier, calmer person. Then it started a cascade... I began walking more and eating better and I've lost 8.5 lbs. I am sleeping better with less nightmares. I made some doctors appointments I had been putting off for a few years. I can't wait to see what more the future holds. Thank you thank you!
I absolutely love how you guys always thank one another for things. I feel like not a lot of married couples do that but it must make the relationship/partnership stronger.

I guess you hear this again and again, but the precious thing about these videos is their total lack of pretension, of trying to look perfect, of passing yourselves off as anything other than what you are. Naturally there is editing going on, but it doesn't give the impression of anything affected. In this way what you are doing really goes against the grain of typical social media. It's really refreshing.

Yes, the book will be narrated by Dana, we still need to figure out exactly how to make an audio book ; ) but it can't be that hard, right? ; ) The really tough part was writing it, Dana has been hard at work for months writing this beast, and we can't wait to share the finished project with everyone! --Lou

This was a great reminder that van life has another side to it...the prep side and the getting to destinations side. I love it and I enjoyed seeing all you go through to get from one place to another. I also just pre ordered the bundle! Can't wait to get it.

Add a spring of fresh rosemary and a piece or two pieces of star anise to the jug. It’s heaven! I had this at a resort in Cancun and now it’s my fave drink! Lou will love it. Love this video, so excited about the new website, ebook and 2020 for the three of you. Lou's comment about using the heater, to cool me off ( I was 7 months pregnant) Dad put ice in the air vents under the hood to have cool air blow on me--best gift on a long trip. The music was perfect, though I seem to hum "on the road again..." when I see your videos. Thanks for bringing a smile to my face.. grateful for the video
