In the battle with the black knight - the ninja shiteater, I just was astonished of the reflexеs for the magic casting and positioning. I would enjoy more of this kind of gameplay.
the ghosts-n'goblins series led capcom to continue making "fantasy side scrollers" like this game, knights of the round, shadow over mystara (true masterpiece); as well as about a half-dozen other genres they innovated and others endlessly copied. strider was, for it's time, the most fast-paced side scrolling ass kicking game. final fight etc did the same thing as this game: where strider and ghosts-n'goblins were one player events, subsequent ass kicking side scrollers would be team efforts; more fun = more quarters. then street fighter...

エルフは中盤以降、地獄の難易度だったと記憶してますが、これには脱帽ですｗ
この頃小学生…田舎だったのかこのゲームは知らなかったです。細部までめちゃくちゃ丁寧に作られている印象でした。発売が1991年というとバブル崩壊直前なので潤沢に資金が使えたんですかね。

本当に防御力が紙過ぎて(ボスの攻撃は2回喰らうと大概死亡していまう)9面ボスと12面ボスが地獄で地獄で
あと弓矢🏹なのに画面端まで届かないというww

ほぼ回避不能の爪攻撃を喰らいまくった印象があるんだけど…
一応全キャラ1コインでクリアはしたけど、
道中ノーミスで行ってラスボスで残機消費してごり押しするゲームだと思ってた
顔を追っかけると手が攻撃してくるので手だけを狙えばいいですね
