Salvatore Maranzano: The crime boss who angered Lucky Luciano, and then suffered the consequences!

One of the leading gangsters from 20th Century America.
Salvatore Maranzano’s rise would see him go against New Yorks criminal kingpin Joe Masseria, leading to the Castellammarese war on the streets.
With the help from gangster Lucky Luciano, Maranzano would win the war. Leading to the formation of New York’s five family, with Maranzano declaring himself the boss of all bosses.
His luck would run out in the end though after falling out with Luciano, leading to his death in September 1931.
But what was life like for one of history’s leading gangsters?

It can be difficult to select music for my videos. I go by whether the tone of the video is serious or lighthearted. I chose a lighthearted tone for this video, so a more lighthearted tune. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything more suitable than this tune🤦‍♂️😅
