George Remus: The King Of Bootleggers who murdered his wife during the prohibition era!

Learn about one of the most notorious alcohol bootleggers in early 20th Century America.
George Remus’ pursuit of wealth led him to go from being a pharmacist and a lawyer, to a criminal after identifying in a loophole in the Voltstead act. Leading to Remus to one day become the infamous King of the Bootleggers, who would supply alcohol to leading criminals such as Arnold Rothstein, Johnny Torrio and Al Capone.
Things would soon go downhill for Remus though as he would be brought down by the government for violating the Volstead act, and then see him murder his wife and being committed to an insane asylum.
