I want to move into a cabin in the woods. I have my eyes on one. It has electricity, a fireplace and a kitchen. Outdoor bathroom and sauna. But it's like 500km away from where I currently live.
The two week notice is only a courtesy thing, you can walk out in the middle of the shift if you really want to (it states it in the employee handbook). If you are going to leave on good terms, make use of the company as a form of reference for future employment. Not every employee asks for it, but it comes handy when they do.

To be honest I just don’t care about my social standing and my financial independence. Life won’t improve and is not worth living if you have bad genes so I might as well always do what’s easiest.
