I don't know if it's a case of goths not really existing anymore. I think it's more the fact that their fashion has become so mainstream that they've lost that counter-culture edge they had back in the 80's-2000's and now kinda just blend in with the crowd. Actually, most normies in my area dress in all black nowadays for some reason. It honestly feels cult-like and weirds me out. I've started dressing mostly in light neutral colours like light grey, khaki and white just to tell them I'm not a part of their normie cult.
