Dungey and Tomac great, great riders. Dungey consistent, fast and does not make too many mistakes. Tomac super fast, exciting, not as consistent and a little more mistake prone. I was routing for Tomac but happy for Dungey.
Iv never focused on Dungy before but after watching him closely during this race that dude can ride!!! I seen extreme talent in him regardless if he got pushed off the track 3 times and got 4th. Now i can see why he considered one of the greatest ever.
Punishment Enduro I don’t consider him one of the best because 3 out of the 4 championships he won ,there wasn’t any main guys out there cause they either were hurt or retired . He’s definitely one of the best 2nd-3rd place riders . But he was never better then villopito and Stewart .

Wow, really that's a sad day, I'm a Kiwi, I grew up on US MX SX just a fan of America and all things American, I idolised Bob Hannah, Johhny O, RJ, Bailey Ward, Glover, Maggo all those guys, I don't understand what's happened in America in the last decade and in Mx and SX riders not wanting to do MXDN, SX only, fans attitudes, I know they're are many good people still in America, but what's reflected in the fans at sport and in politics is very sad times, I also was a massif John Tomas fan and can't believe that's how his son has behaved I guess pressure and that's understandable to some degree hopefully he can learn from the situation of this season, from Dungey attitude and be better for it, 3 or 4 rounds ago I'd a been happy to see Tomac win it the way he was conducting himself, but to see a great fight to the finish and the best rider of the season win it, to me Dungey proved that again, but to see and hear how people are acting how people who call themselves fans are acting is disgraceful and it's disgraceful times we live in unfortunately, SX MX is my escape and to see this behaviour here just is sad times! To finish as many races as Dungey has with a 4th or better, that is championship form. Consistency. It's a 17 race marathon, not a sprint. If championships were judged by holeshots, Allessi would be the greatest of all time (short, quick fastest speed - only to the first turn).

Hell ..look at Stewart , he doesn't have 5 championships and it's not because he was fast !!!! Makes perfect sense to blame Dungey for being a great consistent champion. I promise you Tomac will grow up , slow down and become more consistent and be a champion and after his big crashes Roczen will too.

Dungey was my all time favorite rider next to my uncle Furman. He was a great rider, who didn’t ride dirty or chance hurting another rider. He was a true champ and carried himself like one. I hate he left so early. I believe he could return next year and pick up where he left off. I love that Dungey is also a brother in Jesus Christ.

I’m new to motocross racing and what I learned from the Europe vs USA video tomac is usa’s favorite but damn he rode like an ass in that race. Idk if that’s usual but constantly cutting the other one off to get the place. Dungey kept overtaking in a good manner with skill and Tomac just cut in and pushed the other out of line. Don’t understand how you guys like that dude

If you listened to the post race press conference youd understand that was his plan to slow dungey up if he hadnt tomac would have checked out and dungey would be close behind with nothing to worry about, he wanted to pressure dungey into a mistake or let the pack bunch up and pass him and so on. Tomac obviously could have blown him into the dirt 10 ft under but thats not how he wants it, tomac played it better than anyone in a very long time and its smart, it got dungey into 4th from 2nd so id say it partly worked

And lets be honest, if you saw your friend and training partner get held back by Reed as a lapper it would make you want some kind of revenge knowing Dungey isn't gonna take it.
