I remember when pulling a backflip was a big thing. Looking back at this time, today seems like straight out of a video game.

+EPR89 I agree but I also believe that the new dirt bikes have a lot to do with it technology is getting better. I bet you a dirt bike from the 90s weighs a hell of a lot more than these new bikes. Allowing these new guys to perform tricks that just wouldn't have been possible on the older bikes.

Red Lightning when it comes to pulling Backflips the 4 strokes have more rotation when pulling the throttle, but there 30 pounds heavier

Horatio Huffnagel its a way lighter than a 4 stroke... i almost garentee thats why he is on one... and probably the only reason.
Two stroke is the best yeah 4 stroke may have more power but you can't beat the sound the smell the nimbleness of a 2 stroke

I've just gotten into watching these and videos like this show how talented and hardworking these people are!
In the early 90s I drove motocross, freestyle was in its infancy. The difference between then and now, unbelievable!
Seeing the progression from when Travis done the double back flip to now,, geez its come far..
The stunts are getting really radical now. The level of these guys has really jumped in thows years.

I still remember watching this live, ever since seeing this he’s been one of my fav freestyle riders.
I haven't watched this stuff since the early 2000's. These dude's have done went nuts!! I just watched the triple backflip and then this, geez blows my mind.

Should have at least put Pagès' name in the title and give him the shine he deserves. I am aware the video is old and he's very well known among the FMX circles and extreme sports as a whole. I am also aware Red Bull sponsors all these athletes, so give them the recognition your brand should bring!

One of the craziest things I've seen on a dirtbike! Faved for sure these guys are going so big now a days
I remember watching Carey Hart do the first backflip attempt and everyone was on their feet and when mike metzger did the flip to flip on dirt that was the game changer and everyone was out of their seats on their toes. This sport has gone so far idk how much further it'll go.
Guess we all just gotta wait and see.

As a skateboarder, I only really paid attention to motox through the x games every summer. I just remember back in 2002 when everyone went crazy for Mike Metzger doing a backflip. Now here we are in 2016....

A lot of them ride 4 strokes because they want to. They have a better and more consistent power delivery and more low end torque. Nothing wrong with 2 strokes, I love both. But 4s are just as good

How is that thing at 0:55 a 360? He didn't rotate side to side at all, it was just back flip on an angle?
+Adam Wojtczak He's got to get the bike flat in order to spin it 360 degrees. It looks kind of like a flip, but watch the bike. He doesn't flip it, he turns it. The bike is flat in the air, and he brings the front of the bike all the way around. Probably not the best executed, but it's still a spin, not a flip.
+Clint Weimer (Order066EAJ) that's a back flip on an angle, technically a back flip is a 360 but obviously there's a difference. ones a vertical 360 the others horizontal. someone will do a proper horizontal 360 one day and they'll stop calling that a 360 and call it what it is, a crooked back flip.

lozas bike flip is going forwards, pages is landing on the same side on where the ramo is. pages is 180 degree short to loza's bike flip which makes it easier for pages and harder for loza .
