I always like to hear about the beautiful symbolism of masonry and of the mystery religions. It makes me a little sad that the few times I have considered joining and actually gone to the lodge or spoken to masons, I got the strong impression that modern masonry is dominated by hubris, elitism, and the worship of power. I also see their deeds as an organization in the world and some of them are deeply concerning. I remember Manly P. One of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my life was going through the first 3 degrees of Freemasonry. I already knew what they entailed, and for a time, before going through the actual rituals, I was worried knowing would take away from the experience itself, but as it turned out, I'm glad I knew a bit before going through the physical rituals. It helped me understand what was happening, and regardless what one knows or has read, there is really nothing like enacting the actual dramas out yourself in my opinion... SMIB.

Minnesota is a big deal for some reason. My grandmom and great grandmoms were Eastern Star, and they got to go to tons of fancy events, then they got to go to a top notch Eastern Star 🌟 nursing home. I never understood why they wanted to be in Minnesota is so cold!😂

It's true the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! And the knowledge and wisdom those beautiful ladies discuss is a treat to participate in whenever I get the chance. And in Minnesota we too have a masonic home for our older brothers that need assistance. And in our Scottish Rite lodge we take care of the widows of passed brothers if they need help with bills, or scholarships for their children.

One of the most rewarding experiences I have had in my life was going through the first 3 degrees of Freemasonry. I think about builders rejecting stones and then when they need the corner stone for strength,, they only have a few stones to pick from. As a person, if I am rejected by people and use this knowledge, I become stronger. The builders should have planned better.
