My Auntie, may she RIP, worked at Wright Patterson AFB in 1947. She told me as a young girl that she was there when Roswell happened. She said she was working in an office there (I can't recall whose now) and someone came in to debrief the whole office. She said it was made very clear that something might happen to anyone opening their mouth about anything they saw, heard or thought they knew. She told me it was really scary, but one older medical lady (nurse maybe?) drew a hand on a cafeteria napkin and showed it to her. It had 3 fingers and was claw-like. Apparently the hand came from the survivor of the Roswell crash. She couldn't keep it to herself as she was very scared. This was before I knew anything about Roswell. I was maybe 10. She never drew it for me, but it scared me. I believed her because she was one of those people who would call BS on people. She was trustworthy. Idk.

I couldn't get past his denigration of the belief that there is a spark of God in all of us. he made our souls from himself, Jesus spoke of the water of life in us all. He is the way the truth and the life. only through our belief in Him will we find salvation. I can't see how belief in et life is against God. In the early 90s I was 7 or 8 I was Playing with 15 other kids. We all were playing hide and seek and I remember we were about to start a new game and 2 kids come running from the back alley and they are yelling “ look look look” as they are pointing up. We look up and there it was a round very big and I mean big saucer coming over the apartment building. All of us started oohing and awing. Then all that amazement turned into fear as it was about 15 stories above us and it was making a crazy humming sound kind of like an electrical sound, it was like a pulsating electric feeling all threw our body. We all literally started crying at the same time and it wasn’t normal crying , that cry like if we were being killed. We all ran home terrified for what we just saw. This thing was so low and really big , the city lights lit the thing up, u can see everything. We can see the windows and in the windows there were little people waving at us. I swear I ain’t making this up there was a lot of people who saw it. Then the next day we all gathered around the spot we saw this and I swear I ain’t making this sh!t up. So we were sitting there talking about what we saw and this guy walks up and ask if we saw weird stuff last night. We told him everything he wrote it down and then when we were done he tells us not to worry about it because what we saw was a weather balloon, I shit u not. Oh did I mention the guy was dressed in a black suit. I thought he was FBI because this happened before the movie men in black came out, this sighting was way bigger than the Arizona sighting and I don’t understand why the story didn’t blow up. This happened either in92 or 93 in Orange County California.

He knew a lot but the problem is one must necessarily take on Heiser's own ideological/religious perspective for his explanations to work... he was working through a religious lens, which is different from working from a scientific or at least analytical approach.

Funny thing is my father, who is no longer with us, once told me there is no such thing as aliens. My father was at area 51 back in the 70's and I asked him before he died if there was such things as aliens and again he told me " no" government just uses that to cover up what they are doing. Sorry to inform you BUT there are beings that surround us daily and they can appear (Meaning: Allow us to see them) when they choose to. My sister and her ex saw 2 standing next to his car upon returning to her house in the wee hrs of the night, then one floated into the tree across the street and the other one floated down the side street. I’m not religious by any means. I am spiritual. There have been moments in my life that I can’t seem to answer. I was close to my grandfather when I was younger but unfortunately passed away when I was 4 yrs old. Cancer. Every now and then I have this good feeling that someone’s looking out for me or protecting me. Idk I’d like to think it’s him but I can’t say with certainty BUT! There have been other times where I have had really bad nightmares or night terrors. Times where it felt like I was being attacked in my sleep but I can’t move I can’t wake up and I feel like I’m fighting to wake up trying to push off whoever whatever has a hold of me. There was 1 time 1 time only where I was able to open my eyes and saw this person or figure very thin and extremely dark it was just black no features clothing no face eyes mouth nothing just black and in the shape of what appears to be a thin person. I felt hands arms. I finally broke free woke up and didn’t know what just happened. The strangest thing was afterwords. My room felt strange as if someone/something had just left. And the fact there’s absolutely no sound of any kind like as if there was a volume button and it was turned off. I can’t hear myself my heart beat my natural body sounds and movements that you can hear when you’re in a quiet place. I’ll look up at my ceiling fan it’s on and moving but there’s no sound. And all of a sudden the volume comes back on and that’s when everything hits me and remember bits and pieces. Really I don’t know why I’m saying all this and feel like I’m talking crazy or why this happens to me sometimes but I do feel that there are something’s that are completely unknown to us. Almost like a reminder or like i said before as if someone something had just left a room. I sleep with my dog. sometimes he’s awake after I have these night terrors and he comes to me. Excellent documentary. I have watched alot of films regarding religion, spirituality, aliens/ETs, fallen angels, other dieties/entities, etc etc etc. This documentary taught me so much regarding the bible that I had not previously understood, and did so in a clear, concise manner. I am grateful to have taken the time to watch this because I almost passed it up since I have exhausted some of this type of subject matter on youtube. I feel like I have gained some clarity that I previously did not have regarding events in the bible, and I have also now considered many more arguements to support this ufo/alien phenomenon has a dark side in result of its demonic connection. I had previously adored the idea of extraterrestrials in the popular sense, but after delving into the topic, the data was undenyable that there was a darker side and that most of the concepts were wishful thinking, and the reality was much more of a sinister nature. Reading books such as Communion and others really highlight in a personal way, just how deceptive this pop-culture idea of aliens really is. I have always struggled with the answer as to Aliens. One they are inter dimensional spirt forms just in a different frequency than us and are actually just another form of life that god created and only some are bad but most only want to “help humanity “. The other is that they are demons who have superior technology and power and abilities we humans don’t have. Also I saw a video of a marine that came across a ship and it was under human control of a very powerful specificity trained but not of the known government. The marine and his fellow men were trapped and over taken by these mercenaries. Calling it a Polaroid is a really bad relation. A Polaroid picture is an actual photograph of a moment. A sculpture idea would either be made up by the sculpture maker or as you said described. So this would only be an interpretation rather than actually capturing a moment like a photograph. A sculpture has to be interpreted by the viewer which might never be a the maker had intended. A Polaroid picture of a moment would leave a lot less up for opportunity for error when it comes to interpretation.

Everyone would know the truth if they weren't to busy being OF this world, and took plenty of time to just be still. Knowledge & wisdom comes from the very places it is taught not to listen to. Sad really, that people don't realize knowledge came before books, telling people how to think did. Sitchen's work started with the hypothesis of ancient aliens to write a book to make money. He was self taught on how to read ancient cuneiform at a time where little to no work had been done on the subject. Since that time a great deal of work by a number of different linguists has been done and we have a better understanding of how to read it today, but we still are not 100% accurate. There are a number of people that have deciphered the same scrolls he got the source for his books from and they are completely different. The problem I have with the speaker is that he speaks from the standpoint that the bible is the one and only inerrant truth. I too once believed this. It simply isnt true. As a biblical scholar he should know that there are TWO creation stories by two separate authors. Look it up if you doubt me. There are errors in translation and this cannot be in the mind of a believer. The one principle most all miss is that the bible teaches that man is fallen and sinful. There is NO WAY that an imperfect being can create a perfect book because if we are honest we all know GOD never wrote a word of it mor any other book. When God was calling me out of my sinful life that I had to know, that I know, that I know, that you are the One True Living God and the Bible is the True Word of God and given to man by You. The revival I went to that was going to be the deciding factor on whether I was going to follow God or not. No one knew I was going to this revival but, God, my wife and myself. The title or message of this Revival was, if you want to know, that you know, that you know. Even if you believe in coincidence, there is no way this is a coincidence.

You have a crew to build that house, but they are from different countries who use different units of measure. If each person used their own unit of measure you can never build the house properly. 1:08:00 this is a wrong interpretation, which is a bit disappointing. God IS plural. This is about the Trinity. The Bible says that Jesus is God and The Holy spirit is God AND the Father is God. So when he says in Genesis let us make men in OUR IMAGE, he is talking about Himself. We are made of soul, body and spirit. And so is God. He is Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
God is not referred to in the plural elsewhere in The Bible. His pronoun throughout The Bible is the singular, "He". I wouldn't be so quick to explain the plural with the triune God interpretation.

Curious as to why he used the term "skipping saucers"? Have you ever seen someone skip a saucer? I've skipped rocks. Or did he mean as if to spin a quarter on a table or was it like a billiard ball bouncing in different directions? This guy was was blatantly dismissive of modern day sitings of UFO's by highly trained Jet pilots, both military and commercial. His preoccupation with post World War 2 stuff and weather balloons was ridiculous. In 2004 while undergoing training maneuvers off San Diego, The USS Nimitz had many UFO's on radar that followed them for days. It was finally decided by the captain to send two Navy jets to investigate. What these two pilots saw (one male the other female) was what they described as a tick toc looking object flying at speeds up to 10,000mph and did this doing 90 degree angle changes! These pilots were not brainwashed and neither did their radar lie. This Biblical scholar was using folklore, very old information and confirmation bias to support his view. It was a disappointing insult to critical thinkers and hundreds of military pilots everywhere!

I've experienced this. Being followed.. Knowing your area is a great advantage ... Lead them into a small bottle necked area.. Where's there's one way in or out.. My Auntie, may she RIP, worked at Wright Patterson AFB in 1947. She told me as a young girl that she was there when Roswell happened. She said she was working in an office there (I can't recall whose now) and someone came in to debrief the whole office. She said it was made very clear that something might happen to anyone opening their mouth about anything they saw, heard or thought they knew. She told me it was really scary, but one older medical lady (nurse maybe?) drew a hand on a cafeteria napkin and showed it to her. It had 3 fingers and was claw-like. Apparently the hand came from the survivor of the Roswell crash. She couldn't keep it to herself as she was very scared. This was before I knew anything about Roswell. I was maybe 10. She never drew it for me, but it scared me. I believed her because she was one of those people who would call BS on people. She was trustworthy. Idk.

In the early 90s I was 7 or 8 I was Playing with 15 other kids. We all were playing hide and seek and I remember we were about to start a new game and 2 kids come running from the back alley and they are yelling “ look look look” as they are pointing up. We look up and there it was a round very big and I mean big saucer coming over the apartment building. All of us started oohing and awing. Then all that amazement turned into fear as it was about 15 stories above us and it was making a crazy humming sound kind of like an electrical sound, it was like a pulsating electric feeling all threw our body. We all literally started crying at the same time and it wasn’t normal crying , that cry like if we were being killed. We all ran home terrified for what we just saw. This thing was so low and really big , the city lights lit the thing up, u can see everything. We can see the windows and in the windows there were little people waving at us. I swear I ain’t making this up there was a lot of people who saw it. Then the next day we all gathered around the spot we saw this and I swear I ain’t making this sh!t up. So we were sitting there talking about what we saw and this guy walks up and ask if we saw weird stuff last night. We told him everything he wrote it down and then when we were done he tells us not to worry about it because what we saw was a weather balloon, I shit u not. Oh did I mention the guy was dressed in a black suit. I thought he was FBI because this happened before the movie men in black came out, this sighting was way bigger than the Arizona sighting and I don’t understand why the story didn’t blow up. This happened either in92 or 93 in Orange County California.

Dr. Heiser was and still is one of the smartest scholars I have listened to. His knowledge and logic cannot be compared. Blessed Be Teacher.
He knew a lot but the problem is one must necessarily take on Heiser's own ideological/religious perspective for his explanations to work... he was working through a religious lens, which is different from working from a scientific or at least analytical approach.

Funny thing is my father, who is no longer with us, once told me there is no such thing as aliens. Paranormal researcher here and i'll put my 10 cents worth in the ring and give you my thoughts over 15 years! When i bought the house i live in it took me a year to come to terms that my wife and i were not living alone i then got on line and started reading and trying different experiments to validate our experiences the more i delved into the paranormal the stronger and more frequent the phenomena became at times it was like a Hollywood movie! Then after about 2 years the UFO's started showing up or i began to notice them it went on for many years leading me to the conclusion that UFO's and Paranormal activity are one and the same or somehow linked to one another! This also includes Bigfoot experiences when camping its all somehow linked where they for a general description can see and interact with us and we have no control of how and when the phenomena will manifest! I could write pages but that gives you a general idea of my findings! Peace and love to you all!

My uncle who lived in California had a close encounter of the third kind a couple of years before the movie “close encounter of the third kind,” came out .

I’m not religious by any means. I am spiritual. There have been moments in my life that I can’t seem to answer. I was close to my grandfather when I was younger but unfortunately passed away when I was 4 yrs old. Cancer. Every now and then I have this good feeling that someone’s looking out for me or protecting me. Idk I’d like to think it’s him but I can’t say with certainty BUT! There have been other times where I have had really bad nightmares or night terrors. Times where it felt like I was being attacked in my sleep but I can’t move I can’t wake up and I feel like I’m fighting to wake up trying to push off whoever whatever has a hold of me. There was 1 time 1 time only where I was able to open my eyes and saw this person or figure very thin and extremely dark it was just black no features clothing no face eyes mouth nothing just black and in the shape of what appears to be a thin person. I felt hands arms. I finally broke free woke up and didn’t know what just happened. The strangest thing was afterwords. My room felt strange as if someone/something had just left. And the fact there’s absolutely no sound of any kind like as if there was a volume button and it was turned off. I can’t hear myself my heart beat my natural body sounds and movements that you can hear when you’re in a quiet place. I’ll look up at my ceiling fan it’s on and moving but there’s no sound. And all of a sudden the volume comes back on and that’s when everything hits me and remember bits and pieces.
Really I don’t know why I’m saying all this and feel like I’m talking crazy or why this happens to me sometimes but I do feel that there are something’s that are completely unknown to us. Almost like a reminder or like i said before as if someone something had just left a room. I sleep with my dog. sometimes he’s awake after I have these night terrors and he comes to me. I don’t know what to make of it and honestly I don’t want to look in to it.

Excellent documentary. I have watched alot of films regarding religion, spirituality, aliens/ETs, fallen angels, other dieties/entities, etc etc etc. This documentary taught me so much regarding the bible that I had not previously understood, and did so in a clear, concise manner. I am grateful to have taken the time to watch this because I almost passed it up since I have exhausted some of this type of subject matter on youtube. I feel like I have gained some clarity that I previously did not have regarding events in the bible, and I have also now considered many more arguements to support this ufo/alien phenomenon has a dark side in result of its demonic connection. I had previously adored the idea of extraterrestrials in the popular sense, but after delving into the topic, the data was undenyable that there was a darker side and that most of the concepts were wishful thinking, and the reality was much more of a sinister nature. Reading books such as Communion and others really highlight in a personal way, just how deceptive this pop-culture idea of aliens really is. I have always struggled with the answer as to Aliens. One they are inter dimensional spirt forms just in a different frequency than us and are actually just another form of life that god created and only some are bad but most only want to “help humanity “. Calling it a Polaroid is a really bad relation. A Polaroid picture is an actual photograph of a moment. A sculpture idea would either be made up by the sculpture maker or as you said described. So this would only be an interpretation rather than actually capturing a moment like a photograph. A sculpture has to be interpreted by the viewer which might never be a the maker had intended. A Polaroid picture of a moment would leave a lot less up for opportunity for error when it comes to interpretation.

The problem I have with the speaker is that he speaks from the standpoint that the bible is the one and only inerrant truth. I too once believed this. It simply isnt true. As a biblical scholar he should know that there are TWO creation stories by two separate authors. Look it up if you doubt me. There are errors in translation and this cannot be in the mind of a believer.
The one principle most all miss is that the bible teaches that man is fallen and sinful. There is NO WAY that an imperfect being can create a perfect book because if we are honest we all know GOD never wrote a word of it mor any other book. When God was calling me out of my sinful life that I had to know, that I know, that I know, that you are the One True Living God and the Bible is the True Word of God and given to man by You. The revival I went to that was going to be the deciding factor on whether I was going to follow God or not.
No one knew I was going to this revival but, God, my wife and myself. The title or message of this Revival was, if you want to know, that you know, that you know. Even if you believe in coincidence, there is no way this is a coincidence.
@user-tx6bf1kc7w belief is very powerful as is subjective experience. Nobody can deny you your own experiences. There are truths that go so deep some can never accept them due to strongly held beliefs. Your path is your own. God, creator is real. Men capitalize off of beliefs and manipulate people with those beliefs. This is how society gets built.
Think of it this way. You have plans to build a house. You have a crew to build that house, but they are from different countries who use different units of measure. If each person used their own unit of measure you can never build the house properly. A standard or law must be set and understood AND implemented so that the house can be built as planned.
Religion is used as a plan or blueprint to build a society. When nations are conquered you get BOTH a new governmental body AND they install a new religion.
Do you believe God is christian? Or muslim or any other religion? The question is ludicrous. What about Jesus?
God has NO religion. Any God who created all things would never need, want nor desire worship from its creation. Yet this is exactly what peopke do.
If you were/are a parent who is sane and normal you would not want your children to worship you. You would love your children, want the best for them. Yes they will make mistakes as they grow, but you would NEVER destroy they and place them in a place to be burned and tormented forever because your child didnt do as you said. That is not the way of love. Love doesnt do that.

1:08:00 this is a wrong interpretation, which is a bit disappointing. God IS plural. This is about the Trinity. The Bible says that Jesus is God and The Holy spirit is God AND the Father is God. So when he says in Genesis let us make men in OUR IMAGE, he is talking about Himself. We are made of soul, body and spirit. And so is God. He is Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
God is not referred to in the plural elsewhere in The Bible. His pronoun throughout The Bible is the singular, "He". I wouldn't be so quick to explain the plural with the triune God interpretation.
Yeah like Jesus said...if you have seen Him, you have seen the Father. Some of the scriptures are allegories and some are to be taken literally. With a little discernment and patience, it becomes fairly easy to determine

Curious as to why he used the term "skipping saucers"? Have you ever seen someone skip a saucer? I've skipped rocks. This guy was was blatantly dismissive of modern day sitings of UFO's by highly trained Jet pilots, both military and commercial. His preoccupation with post World War 2 stuff and weather balloons was ridiculous. In 2004 while undergoing training maneuvers off San Diego, The USS Nimitz had many UFO's on radar that followed them for days. It was finally decided by the captain to send two Navy jets to investigate. What these two pilots saw (one male the other female) was what they described as a tick toc looking object flying at speeds up to 10,000mph and did this doing 90 degree angle changes! These pilots were not brainwashed and neither did their radar lie. This Biblical scholar was using folklore, very old information and confirmation bias to support his view. It was a disappointing insult to critical thinkers and hundreds of military pilots everywhere!

I've experienced this. Being followed.. Knowing your area is a great advantage ... Lead them into a small bottle necked area.. Where's there's one way in or out.. Or one road that cuts through a 4 or 2 city block area that never has traffic.. Country road etc etc. where you can see and drive around these city blocks..lol .. Then you will really know and can even get a good look at them.... And when they realize what just happened they will scatter like flies.. Also another thing to pay attention to is sounds. If a vehicle makes a certain sound.. You keep hearing over and over late at night every time you get home or go to a friend's house.. Note that Heiser stated, "They're the disembodied spirits of dead Nephilim. That sounds very bizarre to our ear. That's not what you hear in church. It's not what you hear in seminary, either. But there are hints of it in the Old Testament: Isaiah 14, Isaiah 26, Job 26:5.
These are three passages that have Rephaim in the realm of the dead, what we think of as Hell." So, he committed a category error by jumping from Nephilim to Rephaim.
Also, "You have Rephaim, which is a term used for the giants that descend from the Nephilim in Hell" is an incoherent sentence.

But when he says, "it says explicitly in that verse" again, he failed to note just what that verse is and also failed to note that he's relying exclusively on non-LXX versions of that verse since it lacks mention of them--and in Deut 1 when Moses relates that event, he lacks mention of Nephilim since he's not interested in some tall-tale about personages that didn't make it past the flood, he's focused on Anakim who were the real danger on the ground.
I think stating that Anakim were like a clan of the Rephaim tribe is more accurate since he got the "were also known as Rephaim, and Emim and Zamzummim" from Deut 2 but it states, "Emim formerly lived there, a people great and many, and tall as the Anakim. Like the Anakim they are also COUNTED AS Rephaim, but the Moabites CALL THEM Emim...Rephaim formerly lived there-but the Ammonites CALL THEM Zamzummim." It seems like Rephaim were a.k.a. Zamzummim in general and that Anakim and Emim were Rephaim by extension since they were accounted as."
In any case, Nephilim were strictly pre-flood hybrids, Rephaim were strictly post-flood humans, and there’s zero correlation between them.
