I run the ECS tuning valved exhaust, valves closed for S mode. Perfect for cruising and a no drone modified stock sound. Valves open I'm always in manual mode because I can control all rpms. I love manual mode because you can control the DSG pop shift even at low rpm's by adding a little extra throttle right as you hit the paddle. Once you learn this technique every shift sounds amazing and addictive. Best of both worlds depending on the mood, you can't go wrong! If you're launching the car for a quarter mile run its S mode with valves open, you aren't going to shift better than the computer at wide open throttle. I've logged many draggy runs and have never beat the S mode times no matter how perfect I manual shift, this comes down to the tuner setting the best shift points for the tune. There is one way to beat S mode but its a mix of both, you launch S mode and flip to manual at the end of the run to rev out the rpms right before you hit the quarter gaining you about a 10th on the run.
Love the channel bro i just bought my b8.5 s4 going on 2 months i love it . Saving up to go dual pulley . Do u recommend the 207mm lower only or upper as well?
Nice. Is the donor transmission still working well? I need a new one in my b8.5 s4, but wondering if it’s worth it to save money with putting a used one in instead.

You’re absolutely right! Manual mode would auto upshift for you too
I must say the A4/S4/RS4 platform is such a great looking car regardless of generation. I love my B9 ❤
The 5 does as well!
Lowering springs.. H&R vs 034.. You ave had both... Comments on them?
You should do a video comparing the two options. You are one of the few that have driven both.
Will do!

Thanks for checking it out man! Means a lot. Congrats on your Audi welcome to the gang
There’s a lot of options but 207 if you want to get away from hassle of changing the charger pulley
So your only running the 207 right now ?
Go with single 207mm heat soak will get you with the dual pulley a lot more
@chrisvarela6933 thanks for the feedback
