@@cynthiastevens8302 nah my famy legit would go through hell to get out the house to church on time but my grandma felt accomplished and like the devil had not succeeded on keeping her grandbabies from the lord if we made it there even 2 hours late lol it was always the devils fault our shoes were missing, my sister threw up breakfast, the dogs tore up the bathroom trash all through the house, the babies was having a tantrum, breakfast burnt, we spilt food on our good church clothes.... truth is 10am is too damn early on a Sunday for kids to be in a good mood and parents and grandparents to deal with every bodies bs. Being in your Sunday best and on time by 10 requires being up at 8am at least.... were up 7am and on time by 10am Easter Sunday and Christmas service. That's about it.

And they are, just in a different way then whichever Church you go to. Singing is also a huge part of that. So please don't disrespect another church. All churches are not the same.
Everyone has a different way of praising the lord.
As someone who has been to both white churches and a black churches (but grew up in black churches) this is almost accurate. The white part is more youth group than adult service but having the black church start late and singing the same song for 10 minutes is spot on.

This is 100% accurate I am currently going to a white church that I have been going to since I was 8 and I went to my cousins church for the first time and he goes to a black church and omg it was so different! 😂 the music was so loud and it took forever to start service and end service!

The white church is an exaggeration of a megachurch- my medium-sized white church (Lutheran, too) is not at all like that.
But it's pretty spot-on for megachurches.
Ironic I always get this vibe from small white churches the mega churches in my area are always high of energy because they're usually younger have music schools and whole bands and a lot of random rock music sessions going on lol multiple pastors and they like to mix age groups up sometimes it's a bit much for me then all the small white churches I go to smell like moth balls and quiet humble praise for their lord lol it's mostly old people that go to the small Lutheran and Baptist churches in central florida though. I need a good in between like a solid sized nondemonational church idk
