Man, George always had THE COOLEST jackets and pants. Love the patterns he wore. And Pattie somehow looked ultra-groovy and timeless in virtually every single photo. Even for a model, that had to be hard since she was photographed every time she left the house. I can't get over how awesome her green hat is here. Thanks for including the color pics!
lovely looking at these old pics back in the day I had two sofas made in the material George has his jacket made in, Willim Morris Golden Lily. well my Sofa's were about 1974
I cannot remember if I commented on this the first time that I saw it, but I love it. Thank you for putting it up. At one point during the time that I lived in England, I lived just off the King's Road, and I used to walk along there wishing that I had been born twenty years previously because of all the Fabs' stuff going on at that point. These photos really create a vivid image of what I imagine (and have been told) that time was like.
Man, George and Patti were such a handsome couple! George was, in my humble opinion, the coolest Beatle. He was the sharpest dresser! He looked good in whatever he wore.Great pics! Raul.🙂
*"I don't know what it is about John Lennon, but he's endlessly fascinating in photos."* It's called charisma, and Lennon had it in spades. So much so, that it's captured on film even in the most random of moments. IMO, 'one' of the reasons Yoko stayed velcroed to his side was to obscure, and deflect some of that heavy, negative vibe, people said she emenated, and so people would think some of that delightful, charming charisma, came from her. But it was ALL John Lennon.
Love the facial expressions captured in the photos. Pattie was quite stylish and pretty. I can see why she had so many admirers. Beautiful musical piece too💕
Elena has the BEST out-take photos of The Beatles. You can see Lennon's early "angry" period he entered post- India/Maharishi during White Album recording. George and Patti were beautiful together. How did they act relaxed and poised when there were flash bulbs literally popping off around them? Conditioned fame. End of psychedelic era London pomp and Pop circumstance.
Such a joy to have superb music instead of the usual cacophony of drivel that usually accompanies these posts and by the way the photos are superb as well.
Birds like Pattie Boyd sure made London swing in the late 60's. The story of the love triangle between George Harrison, Pattie Boyd and Eric Clapton is certainly unique.
How so very rare photos so well presented! How so magnificent clip Elena! Thank you so very much my dear friend for sharing your so magical upload with us!
Beethoven. Perfect. Funny thing about that...when I was @ 20 (and well known as a classical musical junkie), some aloof guy asked me "who were the greatest musicians?" "Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, and the Beatles," I promptly replied. "All of them smashed boundaries and created beauty." Thanks for your focus on George & Pattie as they sometimes [get] shuffled aside these days. Beautiful.
Yoko was and is certainly beautiful and stylish in her own unique way, too. Never a 'dolly-bird' of course, just a strong, interesting, independent-minded woman with her own artistic and philosophical thing going on. Probably a bit beyond the average 60s pop fan's capacity to comprehend though!
Very nice pictures. It's seems amazing to see them just walking around the streets like that with no security as in the modern world today. Crazy crazy fashions, especially those hats. Who is that blonde in the store there with them? I can't come up with her name...
Dear Elena, I hope you're having a wonderful day! Quote by JOHN LENNON ~ "God is a power which we're all capable of tapping, we're all light bulbs that can tap the electricity. You can use electricity to kill people, or to light the room you know. And God is that, neither one nor the other but everything." Quote by GEORGE HARRISON ~ "It's being here now which is the important thing. You know, there is no past and there's no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever is the now. And you can gain experience from the past but you can't relive it. And you can hope for the future but you don't know if there is one." Raul.😐
I cannot imagine how it would be to be the most famous person in the world with cameras and press following my every move as well as fans. How would you act? How would would you feel?
8.09 George is half "in the bag: by 8.25 he's in the "bag" all right! Still looks good. Cut P.B. out of that foto, never did like her. George was too good for her. George is still "in the bag" that champagne must have been really good! 8.32 George is all the way "in the bag" here,,,,,, carry back to the hotel John...... yeah yeah yeah yeah Love you John & George, after all these years your both still in our hearts................
@@paultaylor4647 ~ I know. I was being sarcastic. Americans use the term too, but that was harsh, and dressing the way he wanted at the time didn't make him a jerk, any more than some of the clowns in today's music look like "twats". Maybe you didn't like Lennon in the first place.
The APPLE Boutique was a huge financial desaster for the Beatles...opened in Dec`67 and closed yet in July`68....lost 400.000,- Pounds in only a few months.........
John and Yoko were chatting the whole time he was in India through Western Union. The relationship must've gathered momentum in either late 67 or very early 68. Nobody really knows, but they probably were already seeing each other during the Lady Madonna sessions??? Maybe?? This was just before the White Album recording sessions.
Elwin38. Yoko stalked him for about 18 months, coming to his home & just standing at the entrance. She was encouraged by her then husband ,Tony Cox, to hit John up for money. It worked.
If you ever almost stop hating her, just watch the Twickenham Studios rehearsal footage for the Get Back/Let It Be sessions. 4 Beatles trying to work out a tune while Yoko “contributes” five minutes of screaming. Into a microphone. It’s worse than it sounds.
john with his new love yoko ono, george with pattie this is the month they started working on the beatles double white album,i've heard about apple's second shop but never seen photos, thanx elena.

@@elenathebeatlesphotos8500 I’m loving all your videos. Just amazing. So many photos I had never seen before! Thanks!
Yes but Pattie gone with Eric, one of the best friend of George..
Sean Lennon recently tweeted:
"George Harrison could easily have been Yives Saint Laurent"
Man, He is absolutely right...❤️
Yes Patti, you look wonderful tonight.......
Looks like George had a few drinks near the end haha much love George
Georges first guitar was an Egmond guitar. The music under this video is the Egmont Ouverture (van Beethoven)
Now both John and George shine in heaven. Excellent video, music and style. Thanks a lot Elena.
Imagine there’s no heaven
Have always loved George's floral jacket in these pics. Remember seeing a colour shot in Beatles Monthly back in the late eighties!
Moondog Music I feel the same way too! Even worn by GH and also amidst the roaring second half of the '60, though still executed with class (airtie).

It was MAGIC!!! (I am a woman from that era!!)
They all lived two lifetimes before they were 30. George was only 25 here, and they were 2 years from the breakup.
Man, George and Patti were such a handsome couple! George was, in my humble opinion, the coolest Beatle. He was the sharpest dresser! He looked good in whatever he wore.Great pics! Raul.🙂
The classic false blonde chasing famous and reach men.
Thank you so much Elena for publishing these fantastic pictures!
Beautiful people
John and George look still close in this pictures, but he had stopped being present in the studio when George recorded his stuff. That speaks volumes.
Very nice pictures and to say that George was a very handsome man. He knew how to dress in that era and probably could of been a model as well. 😍
Pattie said that he was the most beautiful man she knew.
Pattie said she loved to dress him up

Thank yoiu, Elena. All pictures were new to me. I loved George's jacket.

Lennon would of been great in silent movies especially that hitchcock one, london smog i think its called

They were so cool...nice pics and background music...Thanks...🐒
Pattie was incredibly gorgeous.
A little hefty for my taste. She needed to lose weight.
Hefty?? How the hell do you think she needed to lose weight?
This was just a lovely addition. THANK you so very much for sharing. Olivia Anne.

You kinda missed the point there Judy. George and Eric remained friends. In your normal love triangle that is UNIQUE!
