How long did the heavy-duty servo saver last thinking about getting an aluminum one from hot racing
Still good, no issue with it!
I used to have a hot racing servo saver but the servo horn would strip easily
@@mattcamara4480 hitting the bumps would shear the teeth on the servo so I had to get new servo horns and servos
These servo savers are pretty much junk. Any other options available?
The Kimbrough I have never broken. But the ultimate fix would be a steel gear servo with an aluminum horn.
Is this similar to traxxas 1844 servo saver for Bigfoot?
Yes its a stronger direct replacement !
bro. it's not fitting right...
@@sureztv5836 did you drill out the 2 holes in the horn to replicate the traxxas one?
@@SuperFastRc I did the hole, Its not about the hole, its about the spine drive, Its making some Noise
@@sureztv5836 You might have a stripped servo gear if its making noise.
I read you have to drill your own holes. Is that true?
Yes you need to enlarge the holes for the stock turnbuckle screws.
@@SuperFastRc what drill bit size did you use to enlarge the holes?
