Your video saved my weekend! i received a replacement servo and kept having issues with the steering. Seems that they forgot to include the saver and i totally over looked that, being the armature that I am. Thanks for the details!
My kids kept ramming in to the curb head on determined it will go over the curb. And here i am now trying to see how to change the servo saver🤣🤣🤣🤣. Servo saver broke into 2 pieces, top and bottom
Sounds like you all had a blast. When the servo is in multiple parts it will need a replacement. Fortunately servo savers are pretty cheap compared to the servo.
I think your servo saver is broken. Compare your servo save against the one in my thumbnail. You are probably missing the retaining ring on the top of the servo saver. Under a hard impact the servo saver will flex or break to protect your servo from damage.
You need a new servo saver. The servo saver has a spring in it to flex to save the servo. If you glue it back together you risk damaging the servo in the next crash.
Wheel lugs cross negates need for pliers. 4 yrs later broke mines , good tips & TY.
Thanks
Your test-box is leet

Does this work for all Traxxas vehicles?
My spring popped out. What's holding the top and bottom piece together? Friction? Terrible design

Hey my servo saver broke into two pieces and my truck doesn't turn. Do I need a new saver or can I just glue it back together?
