Calvinists are enemies of everyone who isn't a Calvinist. Many Protestants are continuously seeking to divide. I'm officially a Protestant, but I must confess the god of Calvinists is very similar to Allah. I secretly read the Catholic Saints like Teresa of Avila and Thomas Aquinas. I think we should try our best to be unified.
Actually this is how I view every schism from the Church, it's the devil's victory. But as Catholics we shouldn't isolate protestants but show grace and compassion and celebrate where we are unified and slowly bring them around to the fullness of the truth. You wouldn't, or at least you shouldn't, condemn your brother but embrace him and help him see the truth.
As a Catholic I think we should neither want to be separate and distinct in our belief, nor should we want to work with those who have separated themselves from us. However we should be perfectly open to anyone who wants to come to work with us, whether they convert or not.
As a volunteer with a Catholic facility for the homeless, I worked with Gays and Atheists as well as Buddhists and Protestants. All were inspired by a love for all of creation, but their beliefs were not consistent with Catholic doctrine. So what? In an old movie embraced by the Catholic community even at the time (1945), a priest working in China speaks of an atheist he knew that he believes is in heaven. I know many Non Christians who are so much more Christ like than those who continually tell us how holy their beliefs make them. Sorry - walk the walk as I believe Jesus told us to.
In his closing narration Mr. Seaney discusses Eucharist among Protestants and Catholics. Can we do it together? I think the answer is that the command is "Take, eat" not "Take, understand". The effect therefore lies in obedience and in the act, not in the kind or degree of an opinion on substantiation. Just do it!
What does Bishop Barron say about J.F. Rodrigo's theological book "Jesus The Christ"? I know what you're thinking, can anything good come out of Calgary Alberta. (It is a superb presentation !!).See: Bishop William T. McGratian"s Forward.
Catholics hold that grace flows through the sacraments. Evangelicals believe that grace comes directly from God. Eph 1:3-10 and 2:8-10. This is a great chasm in thinking and faith. Can it ever be crossed?

All Protestants and orthodox baptized in the nane of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are Christians. That's a given. There was never an issue there.
