Aquinas brought me to catholicism for the simple fact i seen that he questioned things, he did not have blind faith and i truly admire that. I have just been called back to the Catholic Church and still need to go through the steps of First Communion and Confirmation at the age of 45. Already, I'm being led to St. Thomas Aquinas.
This was such a great summary of St. Thomas Aquinas; his life, his writing and his influence. Also, it was so wonderful to see Notre Dame in its pre-fire beautiful state.

Dear Lady, please give this Enormous problem to God. He is made strong in your weakness. Please trust in God's infinite Mercy. I'm praying for you as are many others. God Bless You.
This is by far one of the best biographies on Thomas Aquinas. Personally, I find it difficult to read Aquinas or read about him without entering a state of ecstacy. He is to me by far the greatest genius who ever lived. The church's existence today owes Aquinas a very great debt, coming as he did at a time when man started to question astrology and alchemy and was prepared to lump religion in with witchcraft and magic but for Aquinas who showed that sacred scripture was not only a science, and not only the queen of science, but was wisdom beyond all wisdom.

Thanks for your concern, but even though I love the RCC, I don't see her as faithful to the Apostolic deposit, and that will always keep me away from her no matter my love for her.
The world is in a moral crisis. St. Thomas Aquinas exemplifies the virtue of chastity we need today as a great theologian and scholar. Faith and reason cannot be in conflict with each other. Thank you, Bishop Barron, for the great insights.
