    This is a thorough tutorial video on how to adjust your cable clutch lever on your Harley Davidson Motorcycle. This will save you money by not having to take your Harley Davidson to a mechanic. I guarantee you can do this yourself after watching this Free tutorial video..
    This video is specifically about making minor adjustments to the “clutch cable” on your Harley Davidson motorcycle, which in turn will adjust how your clutch lever feels. To adjust the actual clutch on your Harley Davidson, check out the completely free tutorial video for that on this page.

    If the boot doesn't want to play put a wee bit of water based grease on it (KY, Polyol which is belt conditioner)
    Just make sure your actual clutch is adjusted correctly first.

    Thanks for the great video Ryan. I have a 2013 Harley Ultra Limited.I was wondering when it becomes necessary to pull the derby cover off and do the bottom adjustment on the clutch? Is it based on mileage or possible slippage of the clutch resulting in performance issues?

    • @RyanUrlacher
      @RyanUrlacher  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your very welcome Dave and thanks for the feedback!
      Most only adjust the clutch if it is slipping etc. Until then you really don't need to mess with it. I take it you found our video on adjusting the clutch inside the derby cover?

    I know it has been a few years since this was posted, but perhaps someone can help me out. I have a 2000 Springer Softail. I just finished adjusting my clutch cable at the handle bars and at the clutch basket, but I now not able to remove all the slack. I have at least 1/2 in. slack and have run out of threads in the adjuster nut. What can I do to take out the slack. I have the clutch adjuster screw backed out 3/4 turn.
